Agree, the previous deal was very good. But over promising and under delivering is never going to go down well.

Maybe more, I think credibility has gone and they look like a distressed seller. Honeywell took advantage of what appears to be a distressed seller. Glad I trimmed half prior to long stop. No so glad for the other half!

Weekend news/rumours that Honeywell were prepared to walk as the long stop date arrived, but renegotiated a lower acquisition price and extension. We’ll find out for sure soon.

What makes you say not factored in, I’m curious? The share price was hovering around £12-13 prior to the announcement of the sale. Since then it’s now trading close to £21-22. That’s a significant increase already. I get other factors are influential, but sure not that much short term? I’m thinking much of the dividend return is already being priced in.

Sorry, when I meant nonsense I wasn’t directing it at anyone in particular (or you) I meant in general. I take your point, but there’s too much to trawl through to find useful content. And when there’s blatant abusive posts It’s just not nice to read.
