Stretching a point I know, but the 2020/21 ISA season is approaching and should the SP still be at these ridiculously low levels come then, I'll be able to get quite a few more shares under my ISA umbrella. I'm afraid that's my only positive thought at the moment all things considered. Heigh ho.

Regarding my last post, I find it strange when investors see potential in a company and up shoots the SP and now, seven years later, that same company has financed, built and put into production an income earning mine with another income earning low cost mine about to become operational, and faces nothing but apathy from the same investors who got all excited over a scrappy pile of tailings. It's all very strange to me and probably several others on this BB.

Elsewhere in the mining sector, high flying mining junior W Resources (down 6 per cent today at 1.1p) was again among best performing stocks, climbing around 50 per cent, as the group’s La Parrilla tungsten project continues to excite investors.
The tailings project, which is set to generate €7m a year for the £18m valued firm, was signed off last week. And this week it revealed drill results that point to greater long term potential - with tungsten grades three times better than in previous holes.
It then topped off the positive week with a relatively small but important placing, raising £858,500 of ‘time critical’ cash for La Parrilla.
W Resources shares have gained about 250 per cent in the past month and investors in EMED Mining (up 1 per cent today at 11.75p) and Ormonde (unchanged today at 6.88p) will be hoping this performance is a sign of the sort of interest that could come their way in the months ahead as both firm’s are awaiting government sign off for their own projects in Spain.
I would love to see these sort of numbers again sooner than later, here's hoping?

Not worried about the technicalities Troa, just want loads of lorries full of ore heading in the right direction. Perhaps 'rubber duck' don't translate into Portageese/Spannerish or summat?

Golfpro, I reckon it will be down to Reguas life of mine. I don't think it will warrant expenditure to make it an independent plant. La Parrilla will be upgraded to the t3.5 level before long and will be able to handle the extra capacity easily. Therefore, I think ore will continue to be trucked to LP, which should work out cheaper than a whole new plant. As usual though, MM will keep us guessing as to what will actually happen. All this IMO of course.

Broadcast just a reiteration of everything we already knew but hopefully it will fall on a few new ears. Disappointed that the SP corrected itself after yesterday's rise but that's nothing new is it.
I also see that my old favourite ITM, continues to rise, now at £1.60. Obviously someone sees the future of hydrogen fuel cells, particularly for public transport and as a replacement for industrial diesel powered units. Just wish I could have got back in when they were 20p...dammit.

Now if we could get hold of one of those redundant tunnel machines they used on Crossrail, imagine the amount of holes that could be dug, in fact a tunnel from Regua to La Parrilla would be useful.

Naively, on seeing all the FTSE indices on the rise this morning, I thought that Wres might follow the trend.....nah, not blinking likely, not them, too much to ask innit.
On another note, I was wondering if seeing that the camera is no longer in use at La Parrilla, will MM move it over to Regua when things get digging, it'd be nice to have a peer down an adit or two. Failing that, the camera at Sao Martinho would be fun, see the sun glinting on those gloden gunnets lying round waiting to be hoovered up for us, oh what joy?

If the gov wants to build a bridge, they could practice by building one from Poole to the Isle of White for a start thus doing away with the cursed chain ferry and giving the residents on the IOW better access to mainland services. Also the Solent doesn't get as choppy as the Irish sea. Mind you, a tunnel from the UK to Ireland would be interesting, and quite dangerous to boot.

GIT old friend, I think you've slipped into the 3rd Corona option, the one that will make a person giggly after a few bottles, although our local yoofs now tend to cause a riot if they as much as sniff a beer cap on a night out.
On a different note though, I'm wondering why the Extramadura peeps are taking so long to hand over our grant money. I know MM said this quarter but all the paperwork was completed apparently, all they gotta do is write a cheque or do a BAC's transfer....cash in a paper bag even!!

Good morning all. Some time ago, I mentioned on here that many years past, there used to be a Corona bottling plant just a few strides away from where I still live. I remember orangeade, lemonade and cream soda etc, but nowt about virusade?
Jest I do, but I'm one who certainly has very little chance of survival should I contract this latest virus, so if I disappear for a prolonged spell, you'll know why.

According to t'interweb, its approximately a 3.5hr drive by car from Regua to La Parrilla. Depending on truck size to some degree, it will probably take nearly double that to haul the ore from one mine to t'other. I'm sure Panties will know the road well and correct me if I'm miles out? However, give it a few weeks for digging and then it'll be 'Breaker, breaker, we have a convoy' yee hah

Predictable end to the week, roll on Easter time and maybe the LP nuns can change into bunny attire for a while?
