Agree if Ford numbers remained the same, but in their Q4 (Ford) did have a severe F truck fall off of 90k if this was their prem F truck with blue cruise then Ford could be over say 100k less

From the article Fords Q3 added 112k, wouldn’t that be part of our Q1 figures so we had 280k from others in that quarter.

It still leaves us unclear on why 266k in Q2. Which agree needs answering.

Having re read the H1 RNS there is one line that SEE confirm still to achieve 2026 forecasts. These I have down as:

forecast a doubling in revenue to $US125 million by 2026. 

royalties will rise about nine-fold to as much as $US68.75 million. This is from SEE.

Surely, we are being oversold.

Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway driving assist feature has expanded rapidly since it launched a few years ago, and was available in a half-million Blue Oval vehicles by the conclusion of 2024. FoMoCo also recently lowered the price of BlueCruise , though it is facing an investigation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) due to a pair of fatal crashes that occurred with stationary vehicles with that feature activated. Now, one of The Blue Oval’s rivals – Rivian – reportedly plans to launch its own BlueCruise type of feature this year, too.

After General Motors pulled the curtains on its Cruise robotaxi division last year, it’s hoping to keep at least one foot in the autonomy game with its Super Cruise advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). Now there are early signs that focusing on consumer applications for autonomy rather than a robotaxi service might be paying off.

About 20% of GM customers driving Super Cruise-enabled Chevy, Cadillac, GMC, or Buick models opt to pay for the system after its initial three-year trial period, the automaker said in Tuesday's 2024 earnings report. During that call, GM executives said there are now about 360,000 cars on the road with Super Cruise and the automaker hopes to double that in 2025 as it sets big expectations for future software subscription revenue.

What do you think the next auto KPI number will be for Q2? Closest guess gets guru status on here. I think 480k taking SEE to 3.1m on the road.

DLN Dual Launch Netting is a usual practice in Auto industry. Sourcing and funding x2 suppliers through to design, tooling and production prototype. To risk manage in case 1 goes to the wall, so that you can seemlessly switch supplier if required. Has that been the case with SEE and SEYE?. That could be the reason why SEYE show a lot of design wins, but little actual production. SEE only seem to create RNS at contract award I.e. volume actually guaranteed. I did wonder if SEYE being mentioned with GM could be DLN, but SEE are currently in proction. Any thoughts?

Hi in recent comms I noticed the SEE now said they serve 1100 fleet customers, there web site in Fleet product section also has this number. But there have been no RNSs posted about these new customers as we were always told they serve 800 customers. Why?

Some other issues other than today’s call/ numbers I believe have dropped so today.

Some lack of knowledge in auto business. Accounts receivable for a Tier 2 as we are in a variety of cases going through Tier 1 oems to VMs mean there is a significant hysteresis between supplying and eventual payment.

This is still a market leader, it’s product is now proven in auto volumes, so bodes well for future OMS orders.

Collins have talked about pilot eye tracking being available in 2025. My bet is we might see (no pun intended) something in Paris.

The major air shows for aerospace sales in 2025 include:

With CAT re-signing at $16.5m what value will we get from Magna?. Their exclusivity deal expires June 2025. As of yet Magna hasn't appeared to leverage the volumes they anticipated, but the OMS order prize market from 2025 onwards could be huge.
