I would say no, because of the first to produce the flat cap, the possibilities for integration in to other tec is endless. IMO the auto industry will not be the biggest user of this tec when it gets out there.

Not sure about a hybrid bat/sup, as one of the advantages of a sup is that it can be charged and discharged millions of times compared to a bat. Also the sup can be made safe, i.e will have no charge, and the sup can be easily recycled because no chemicals involved. IMO it makes more sense to keep the technologies separate, even if used in the same vehicle for different requirements. Just my thoughts from the little knowledge I have.
