The mms acumalate shares at various prices by buying off pi etc so for instance they may have bought some at 5p some at 6p etc so that's how the price goes up and down with demand so once they have sold the ones they have bought for 5p they will then take the bid up so they can make a profit on the ones they bought for 6p and so on and vise virsa some are on the ask some are on the bid and as far as I know there are fewer on aim than ft etc so easier to manipulate as the book isn't looked as much
