Hope you are well C7. I wonder if the fund which announced it sold part of its position a week or two back is still reducing its holding? I think Bermuda mentioned that fund might have undergone a change in strategy? Still, nothing drastic as far as I'm concerned.... it feels a long way from 5p still!
Im drinking heavily so can't remember if I posted before, but there was an article on BBG recently about the top performing gold stock globally doing basically what I think GDP does. Btw, is this considered picks and shovels? 20p by year end I suspect.
I agree. 15p a share as a realistic price was touted by the previous CEO a long time prior to these tailwinds. I read an article on Bloomberg this week about one of the top performing gold shares globally this year. They process tailings outside Jo'burg and it espoused their leverage to high gold prices. Food for thought.
Ignore the nonsense, this is good news for Scancell. Did Vulpes get it cheap, were there better options, are there no other options, etc.... who knows. What you do know is that
you have an expert in its field taking, for SCLP, a sizeable position on a long term basis. If you don't think so google Vulpes (they've been in OXB for a long time and if we get to anywhere they are we will all do very well). This is another glowing endorsement in a sector that frankly none of us have called well for 7+ years, across a myriad of companies. It's not yet the holy grail for sure, but enjoy this, it is highly positive, IMO.
A belated happy bday Chelsea, and thank you for your continued good spirits. I really do appreciate them from afar.
I kind of agree with Knowlesi, it's just a shame he comes across as such a self congratulatory *****. Nobody in their right mind should buy before tonight's talk. It's seemingly a fluff before a capital raise.
That being said, we are still very much in the game and I've a sense there is a lot of money about to come into this sector. I've seen it in OXB and more recently with RENE. I cannot fathom why two highly qualified staff would join a company with no future. Fingers crossed for us all, and especially the patients.
Can directors buy if they are aware of any non- disclosed, price sensitive information? If not, there may be nothing on the immediate horizon and perhaps the latest flurry coincided with the notification of the Chinese tie up. The recent buy and immediate sale by the HNW individual/market expert was also particularly intriguing. Either way, this is a terrific opportunity in a rather barren investment landscape (uranium equities aside). Fingers crossed for the coming weeks. I may finally start to make the money I thought I would 5 years ago :)
Totally agree. I'm seeing it more and more in this industry. Continuous enrichment of management at the expense of shareholders. Eventually 'somebody' will cotton on and address it but you and I will be long dead by then. Disgusting.
