I asked Brett whether he would have chosen to take a salary if he knew back then what he knows now. I knew the answer before I asked but his response, I believe, instills confidence

I didn't take on the role with Stratmin for a cash salary, the intention has always been to build a meaningful business with the acorn of STGR. It has taken some time but we now have a platform with a monetised asset and follow on investment opportunities that we do not need to go the the market to fund. I am very happy to convert my arrears into equity at a premium to the current price and will drive value with the opportunity we have with Tirupati on the JV and other corporate deals beyond.
I made a commitment to invest in this company and intend to do so. Shishir and j have not had the opening to take equity with the series of corporate deals so we are looking forward to getting set in the stock and getting on with the rebuild.
Keep in mind that STGR is not something either of us have to do. We both have very successful businesses outside of this. We are doing this because we can see a real wealth generation opportunity.
I will be in London next week and the week after for the general meeting and Shishir will be there with me. If you are interested in discussing the plans for STGR beyond this deal we would be happy to meet. I have already set up times to meet with a few major investors.
Regards
Brett
