2022 Annual General Meeting cancelled
As a result of McColl's Retail Group falling into administration on 9 May 2022, the AGM that was due to be held on the 31 May 2022 will no longer take place.

Shareholders unlikely to receive anything however not officially announced. With 30m raised by shareholders for morrisons conversions they MIGHT count shareholders as creditors but very unlikely. Announcement will be made within the coming "weeks".

Investors paid for these morrisons daily conversions, I think thousands of us investors who will also be discouraging others also to not shop in their stores would see an impactto them, albeit not massive it would probably be best to pay PI's our tiny sum for sticking with the company and having faith in it all. If they do confirm we don't get a penny I for one will never step foot in there again, I spend average 150 a month at morrisons, let's say 1000 others do the same over a year that's nearly 2m in lost revenue from shareholders alone. They are deemed worthless but won't disappear from your trading account until the admin firm confirms shareholders aren't included. This will 100% happen they never include shareholders. Any money recouped will go to the banks.

A company's shares will be suspended when the business goes into administration and there are no real options for ordinary investors to trade them beyond this point, even if a buyer is found for part or all the business such as issa brothers. In most cases the shares will eventually be delisted, shareholders are always back of the queue, Debenhams and Thomas Cook for example. This is the same case. The shares will show as zero in a month or so once administrators leave no money for private investors.

There is zero chance of shareholders receiving any money back now. This is finished. Even with a save from the issa brothers that may retain some staff and mccolls shops but nothing will ever go to shareholders. Shame.

This is still extremely risky and unless people love a gamble I'd stay away, I had around 4k at 1.90 and watched it go to 4.50 and sold at the crash at 2 with a tiny profit.. Back in at 1.38 for a small pint.

This is still on a massive downward trend imo, I mentioned we would see 70s and now I reckon 60s looking at poor sector performance and rates of inflation, couple that with their poor investor reputation it's probably got another 20% to go down.
