RE: 20,000oz Annual Gold Production. Information all from RNS.6 Mar 2026 17:36
The Paranaíta Gold Project in Brazil is covered by mineral exploration licences that are currently valid and in good standing.
Actual licence holder:
The licences are held by a Brazilian company:
MTgold Mineração Ltda.
MTgold is the legal owner of the Paranaíta project and its mining/exploration licences in Brazil.
Jangada’s relationship to the licences:
Instead of holding the licences directly, Jangada owns equity in the company that holds them:
Jangada acquired 33.3% of MTgold in 2025.
It also has an option to increase its stake to 50.1%, which would give it majority control.
After the deal, Jangada became the project operator, meaning it runs exploration activities even though the licence sits with MTgold.
This structure is common in Brazil because foreign-listed juniors often operate projects through local subsidiary companies that hold the ANM mining titles.
