Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi all,
As of today i have today invested into Cineworld. I do see this as a good recovery play. Yes i am aware of the shorts, debts and doomsayers which are lurking around, but for what it is worth, i really do see how cinemas will prosper once again.
1. People want to get out and escape cabin fever - that time is now fast approaching.
2. I am sure that many people want to stop paying premium prices via amazon, hbo, etc and pay less to experience the movie in all its glory on the big screen whilst having the discussion about it with friends in a pub or bar afterwards.
3. The big names like paramont, wb, lionsgate etc haven't held onto their movies in the hope of cinemas reopening whilst worrying not making a bean on their movies - they are not in the business of losing money (sometimes they take a hit on a bum movie but they usuallt mske it up elsewhere with another film release)They have held onto their films as they know the cinema venues WILL bounce back from these horrid times and will be able to make revenue through Cineworld and the likes when safer times return, which again those times are fast approaching.
Simple reasons i know, but simple is best.

Sandy, hi
After being most impressed with the SCSW write up, and my own research, i was wondering when the first set of results were going to be released - i can't seem to find a date, unless i have overlooked something.
Mark.
SCSW have given a good write up of supreme. I shall be buying come Monday.
Does anybody think that the price of copper is causing this to drop?
Unfortunately i am not, no.

Same applies for Trade Desk too.
Interesting how Magnite recovered from 53 to 56.

Volex have their hand in the medical field where Rothschild has said that medical growth has returned and H2 trading is strong.
There is so much more but this is all i will post on here.
All the best.

Volex bullet points which i have taken from SCSW. There are others too but the ones i post are
What is particularly exciting now is that interims in November showed EV revenues up by 77% to c.US$13m (zero in 2018) even though it's main customer, Tesla, had its factories shut for 2 months of the year when revenues were nil. Growth rates for EV'S are set to balloon and speaking to chairmain Nat Rothschild and finance director Jon Broaden, i can optimistically speculate that Volex's reputation for safety and reliability will have seen it approached by Volkswagon ad Ford, whose production of EV'S is starting to rise.
Exciting times for Power cords.
A new monster facility is being built in Batam.
Acquisitions remain central to Rothschilds strategy - 3 are being worked on at the moment.
An ambitious 5 year plan could be announced soon.

Steviewonder77 hi,
I tend to agree with what you are saying with the 'price never being there' but however we may gap up if an RNS is issued. Nonetheless, i do expect the price to pass £7 this week because of results looming closer. The big trade could have been an order being filled throughout the day - another possible RNS to come maybe - who knows, time will tell; but things do look rather promising.

Tricky_Dicky hi,
I do wonder if there is a leak about a possible Stifel update coming our way because of the late surge of trades. I guess time will tell.
Mark.
@Sahid
If you're interested I'll post up some bullet points from SCSW a little later. The whole piece itself is very in depth and compelling reading. I'm watching the tennis at the moment.

Sahid, hi
I personally don't read Motley fools review of stocks. The simple reason for this is because whoever does the write-ups seems to give with one hand and take with the other, OR, they even change their minds with regards to any given stock on a weekly/monthly basis. However, each to their own and this message of mine is a non intentional deramp as i am an investor of Volex. It is just an opinion of mine - it's not right or wrong, it's just an opinion. All the very best.
