As you put it Solgold has a prized asset in a tier 1 mine, so why would a major walk from that?
Not many tier 1’s around is there, in business you don’t cut your nose of to spite your face, even if you don’t like the BOD’s or some other silly reason, 50+ years of mining, only a fool would walk from that imo

Why would a major lose a tier one? Ecuador is open for business as it really needs to pay it’s debts, Lasso is doing all he can, Solgold we will have to wait to see what they can do, but they are well in with Ecuador and the government and the people

Yes there is always risks to any investment, that’s why there is a sell price if you are worried, but to make up scenario’s none stop is just bloody silly, good reasoned debates on what you actually know is much better, just my opinion.

So they posted this RNS, having a moan but not sold their shares, actually been adding to their holding since 2022

I wonder if they are getting paid to ruffle feathers as I cannot see what they have to gain going public, why not just email Solgold with their concerns

Berry Street Capital Management LLP has been an investor in SolGold Plc (“the Company”) since late 2020. We have subsequently added to our exposure through public market share purchases as well as through the Company’s 2021 share offering.
As an investor in the Company, it has been very difficult to follow a great project being managed so poorly at the corporate level both before, and after, the publication of the Pre-Feasibility Study. In our view, the Company’s latest attempt to fund raise unfortunately only demonstrates the Management and the Board’s lack of understanding of 1) their shareholder base and 2) the basic mechanics of capital markets.
We believe the Board should represent the entire shareholder base and not only a select group who might be exercising control. Hence, we urge the Board to act fully independently and begin a strategic review imminently to initiate a sale process of the Company.

You say your aware of their history, well ask South Americans what they think of BHP. I have wondered if they would try to side with someone else and finance them to take over with BHP being a major holder in said company? Maybe even a deal with Solgold keeping BHP’s involvement a low profile, who knows.

If I had a crystal ball I would answer your question, what I wish for and what I get are two different things, I hope for a good return on my money I invested here.

BHP lost a case in the other week regarding 5 billion pounds for the carnage they caused when the damn burst, they have also lost many billions in the last few years through p*ss poor management decisions

You think Nick with his holdings including DGR, NCM and all the others will sway to BHP who do not have as much clout as they use to have, they are known for dirty games, but the others are not fools.

You say your reacting to what is or is not happening, we don’t know as we are not privy to their discussions, but I can guarantee they ain’t doing nothing.
This mine is a big animal, it has a life of 50+ years, who wants to lose a share of that for peanuts?

I trust Solgold to pull something great out of the hat with an experienced team at the helm, these are not fools and all have a lot riding on the outcome.

A tier one mine and a solid much respected Solgold in Ecuador, DC now in a nice position with the mining in Ecuador, you sound more worn down to me than Solgold

When did they last say this? Every day something changes, nothing stands still and neither will Solgold.
You don’t have a tier 1 and just sit around, however they are playing this you can guarantee they are very busy in my opinion of course.
