Germany to restore 10 gigawatts of mothballed coal capacity to the grid to cushion gas shortage = 5% total German power production — "bitter but necessary" says Green economy minister. Coal imports from US, Australia, South Africa will supply reopened plants.

Some EU countries rushing to reopen coal-fired power plants in response to supply disruption/surging prices.
Netherlands changed law to allow coal plants to run at full capacity until the end of 2023. France, Austria to reopen coal-fired power units before winter.

Positive US outlook on improved payer coverage

While commercial activities for Accrufer commenced in July 2021, we expect 2022 to be the first real predictor of potential US market growth following recent coverage from pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and state-run Medicaid plans. STX has secured coverage that captures c 40% of the 270 million covered lives in the United States and we expect this figure to rise as coverage expands. Outreach activities from its 30-person US sales team appear to be bearing fruit, with prescription volumes doubling quarter-on-quarter in Q122 to more than 3,900. We expect the company to reach positive operating income in FY25.

Having read some commentary online - for the avoidance of doubt - Andrew is CURRENTLY the CEO of ECR Minerals ( not in six months time! ). He will assume the role of executive director when he joins the board in coming months.

He'll have all the hard facts to hand and will be able to give a full and frank assessment on our projects and plans following discussions with our chief Geo Adam Jones.
For those who have questioned why he hasn't appeared sooner. It's a no-brainer. He was appointed less than a month ago. Discussing our projects and future plans when he hasn't met with our geologists and completed a full desktop review would have been pointless.
Plenty also happening behind the scenes - work programs, news flow as well as sorting our attendance at upcoming conferences and events. The market will be hearing plenty from ECR in H2 ... watch this space and we appreciate our investors' understanding and patience
