Some very good posts. But criticism towards Mrs May in my view is unfair. Like the saying it’s easier to criticise than to praise. Consider the previous PM was also a remainer and left the seat as soon as he could on the ref result. She is doing a remarkable job when you consider the diverse fractions / groups she is trying to appease - EU, hard / soft brexiteers, opposition parties, DUP, ex-Ministers etc. Agree she had made some bad decisions and yes been a bit naive uswell, but I wouldn’t think a long gradual approach would have been a good idea, this I think would just cause more uproar, fractions and demands for a people’s vote at each step and change of prime minsters would be a regular occurance!

It’s ok for people to have opinions based on their areas of expertise. But fact remains the country voted to leave EU, this we must respect. That is democracy. This would be true also be true if we voted remain. Hugh amount of time, effort and money has already been spent over the last 2 years in honouring brexit.

Have to agree, from experience of being involved in many of these. There is normally no regard for the small PIs. Once the board recomends it’s more or less a done deal and they normally force it through. Gla

Bottom line is no one knows, you have to acknowledge this is
Uncharted territory (no ones ever done this before). It’s how we deal and they deal with us after brexit. But was that not the whole point of negotiating this divorce settlement with EU, than just leave without one - to ensure we leave on good terms and benefit in the future.

Not speaking for leavers or remainers here, but surely majority of us expect some uncertainty, some businesses to exit UK, economy to take a hit etc. Naturally with change you expect should be temporary and short term if we do it right. In terms of isolation, don’t think that would ever be true, we will still be prospour as other countries who are not in EU do, Norway, Sweden, Cananda etc. We can better them as we already have relationships of over 40 years with EU countries.

It’s democracy. We had a referendum, all had a chance to vote and majority voted to leave. So let’s let democracy prevail. Brexit is a process and involves intense negotiations on a variety of issues, so it was never going to be easy, no matter what some people say. This delay and scaremongering of what may happen, is creating fears and uncertainties among people. There are some calling for second vote, can you imagine what would happen if this went in favour of remain, the brexiteers would then demand another vote..which I’m sure will be argued on the basis of mislead by politicians, finals vote as its 1-1 lol!

This to me means they’ve bagged at least 3x contracts - US based technology platforms, major record labels and broadcasters.

The cats out of the bag as they say..BDO now know they’re going to lose this claim hence will not want it to go further in the courts, basically they’ve now exhausted all delaying tactics. So it’s in their interest to now reach an out of court settlement. Hope they play hard ball!

Have to agree, it’s kind of unreal that you get to sell at 4p after 1p annoyed and recommended by the board...it’s the great puzzle of today how the SP is here?

Cannot believe we are getting this price after 1p offer recommends by bod, the Sp is over 350% of this! Now is this being played and those traders will bail out shortly OR is there more to it??
