It looks obvious from the language ‘rapid as possible’ in today’s RNS, they are seeking ‘emergency use’ authorisation. So this could come very swiftly indeed:

‘.. As per the announcement of yesterday, the Company will be working with the regulators and other key groups to progress this potential COVID-19 treatment as rapidly as possible. As with any drug undergoing clinical trials, Synairgen will require regulatory approval before SNG001 can be marketed on a commercial basis.‘

Yes Polar Capital will likely be followed by many others in days to come. Smart money starting to move in...!

We are in the midst of a pandemic and approval process times are slashed but to save lives we now have ‘emergency use’ approvals...see FDA website!

Well in reality they’re shouldn’t have no problems with funding, most certainly wouldn’t be signing JVs / contracts with these big companies if it wasn’t already secured or provisionally secured. Otherwise you have to ask how they’re going to honour these JVs and multi-year contracts?

This is the key and that’s why I’m pretty confident we will get a bumper funding RNS here very soon...let’s see what happens!

Think we need funding RNS from BoD, this issue is holding back the excellent recent contract and JV RNSs...if it wasn’t for funding concerns these RNSs would have re-rated this company to at least near 10p I think..

Yep they have ample cash for foreseeable future...raised £14m less than 3 months ago so well funded

We should see more tr-1s in the coming days...no brainer for IIs who will see great value here.
