Trading was already ahead of expectation so SP was expected to rise on trading Update, which they decided to keep under wraps!

Consider no Trading Update in Feb 23 when they should have and have decided after Sept 22 RNS to de-list. They don’t want to issue further trading / results before de-list as from the last RNSs they are expecting bumper results. It seems they’ve decided to de-list this and buy-up rest of the shares on the cheap and fend off buyers until they own all shares..was 500p just last June on talks..

The Company is pleased to report that current trading has been strong with Q1 performance significantly ahead of the comparative period last year. -- Q1 Revenue was US$74.05m (up 30% vs Q1 2022) -- Q1 EBITDA was US$28.55m (up 39% vs Q1 2022)

The business has seen growth across all verticals, in particular due to current inflationary pressures which have driven multinationals to focus not only on cost reduction but also revenue retention. Current trading is ahead of expectations, with improved margins, and the Board remains confident in the future outlook for the Company and in the expected performance for the remainder of this financial year.

9th June 22 -SP was around £5 when in talks with BPEA. So buyers have shown their hand here already including few others as per Sep 22 RNS..

The Board of iEnergizer Limited ("iEnergizer" or the "Company") notes the recent press speculation and confirms that it is undertaking a review of strategic options available to the Company in order to maximise value for all existing shareholders. As part of this process, the Company has entered into preliminary discussions with BPEA Advisors Private Limited ("BPEA") regarding a possible sale of iEnergizer.

Discussions with BPEA are ongoing and the Board will keep shareholders updated as appropriate. There can be no certainty that any firm offer will be made or as to the terms on which any offer might be made.

Read RNS 7th Sep 22 - Engaged with number of parties for sale and then pulled out following strong trading. If your assumption is correct, then it could be any of these parties still pursuing hence the de-listing?

On 13 June 2022, the Company announced a review of strategic options available to the Company and commenced a formal sale process under the Takeover Code. The Company subsequently engaged with a limited number of parties but given stronger trading during the process, as alluded to above, the Board felt that it was in the best interests of the Company to withdraw and terminate the FSP at this time, and confirms that it is no longer in active discussions with any interested parties.

With the de-listing, people have literally forgotten the value of this business which is extremely healthy. The value is still there and so are the major holders who I’m surely are increasing stake quietly in the background..value is 320p and today on offer for 68p even 50 % discount is 160p but this is still sitting at ~80% discount.

Very healthy profit making business, paying dividends twice a year. At some 80% discount due to delist announcement. Surely they’re must be many parties interested and would be considering an offer?

Not sure I’ve yet seen such a good and healthy company seeking delisting for some peanuts listing costs. This is not the real reason here..
