What a shame 1rodson is no longer posting on ADVFN - he was always singing the praises of Glint v Tally. Would have liked to have seen his reaction to this news.

You are right to be cautious. This still has potential - quite a lot of potential actually if Moz comes in soon - but potential does not put food on the table.

I think the next month or two will be a bit of a critical time for SAV. If the Oman and Moz licences do not appear during this period I feel many people will give up on SAV. It is now 5 weeks since the RNS telling us that the Oman licences are going to be granted. The RNS stated "PAM has specified that the Mining Licences will be granted once new licensing fees have been set under the new Mining Law and the fees paid" so who knows how long it might take for them to 'set up' the new fees ? The Moz licences have now been 'conditionally approved' but the conditions do not seem to have been made public. Again, how many weeks before they are made unconditional ? No-one knows.
Of course we could have further news from Portugal but TBH any such news seems to be discounted as DA's record is so bad.
HOWEVER - if Oman and Moz and Portugal all come good before the end of the year then we could really motor. If they don't then who knows where the sp will be. Here's hoping .....

Dropped 10% in 2 days on an RNS which while still a bit 'jam tomorrow' at least showed there is still some life in Moz. SAV needs no more 'licences expected', 'licences anticipated' types of RNS - DA please either keep quiet or wait until you have something concrete to announce (and I don't mean that we are diversifying yet again, into concrete production).

Undoubtedly good news , but we are not there yet. Similar to Oman RNS of nearly 5 weeks ago now - that said 'Oman authorities to grant licences', not 'Oman authorities have granted licences' . Similar with this RNS. When we actually truly HAVE the licences for Oman and Moz then I will breathe a huge sigh of relief.

The status of 9735C and 9229C are 'pending assignment', but the status of 9228C is unfortunately 'opposition pending' - not sure of the exact meaning of that but maybe indicates local opposition to granting of the application ?".
Then on 29 July I posted this :
"In the Jangamo region there are 3 area relevant to us (coloured green) : one licensed to Maltilda Minerals, whch is SAV and which has the status 'Atribuicao Pendente' which means 'Pending Assignment', and two licensed to Mutamba Mineral Sands which is us with RIO - one of these has always had the status 'Oposicao pendente' which means 'opposition pending' and I have always wondered if this is why we are not getting any further in Moz. The second Mutamba Mineral Sands one used to also say 'Pending assignment' but last week changed to 'Em Vigor' which means 'In force'.".
I have just checked today and area 9228C which was previously 'Oposicao pendente' changed yesterday to 'Atribuicao Pendente' which I think is highly significant. If 9228C follows the other 2 areas the status should change again to 'Em vigor' and that would signify to me all systems go in Moz !!
