Depends how you define 'correct' doesn't it. Yes your figures match what is shown here and on other websites for total bought and total sold, but as you have said yourself the designation 'buy' or 'sell' is simply a computer-generated estimation based on the trade price in relation to the bid and ask at the time of the trade. And it is OFTEN wrong - i.e. what is flagged as a sell is in fact a buy, and vice versa. You can see this if you are doing dummy buys and sells during the day so you know what the true nature of the trade is. So I cannot see the use of stating '20,000,000 bought, 10,000,000 sold' or whatever, when we all know those figures could be wildly inaccurate.

Sorry, I'm with ADVFN for seeing trades, not HL. I deal using HL. ADVFN are brilliant for trades IMO.

Anyone who uses this site for their trades information needs a good talking to. It is so unreliable.
