What I did was open trading accounts for the kids & transferred shares from my account to their respective accounts. they then opened ISA's & transacted Bed & Isa's into the new account, job done. You say small amount, my kids have been warned they face a £22.50pq charge in their trading account. so just be aware.

I will not be buying with a spread in excess of a halfpenny ( 29.1/29.7) neither should anyone else. Mm's need to bring the offer down or better still raise the bid.

Even as I posted they raised the ask to 30p to deter buyers & they will now take 300k from me at 29.1p

Real spread 29.085/29.4 & they will take 250k from me at that price, or at least they would if only I would press the sell button.. Now, that share shortage Alfa told us about, MM's flapping a little?
