@Headancer If that is all you have in a JOINT trading account & no other gains then Bushveld can go £1 before you broach the CGT exemption x 2. If you exceed it you can sell in two tranches either side of 5 April & put the proceeds in the existing ISA's ----job done, that will be 100 guineas thank you ( less 100% discount)

Yachty all I can tell you is that Interactive Investors have them. I cannot tell you how they determine what credit each customer is entitled to but it is clearly dependent on the size of the customer's portfolio and possibly the make up of said portfolio as that will impact on their perception of the risk taken. When you take out a T20 if you decide to close early i.e before the eighteenth day (2 day settlement) then the trade settles on the same number of days as the original purchase.

@Cindercone I think you are losing the plot. I will stand by you & defend your right to believe & enunciate your belief that TA is utter rubbish. Absolutely fine but your post went much, much deeper than that. The first paragraph was accusatory & unpleasant. In fact most of the post was making accusations about manipulation. Ophidian, if indeed that is whom you were alluding to has made clear his position at all times & you mate have simply got your knickers in a twist & I for one simply cannot see why.

If the party could be wrapped around a UK visit by Fortune it would give the event credence & determine the timing. Sounds highly appropriate to me. I would be keen to attend if at all possible, a train to London is no real hardship.
