Next month re overseas workers. Some truck drivers on £20 per hour, last year was on £14 per hour.
Some workers sent home due to covid worked on the farms, one couple managed to buy a property due to having more pay.
UK farming has had it's day, very hard times ahead for UK farmers.
No UK strawberries next year due to new rules on migrant workers.
If the farmer had of booked a driver in advance will an Agency and paid a higher wage, a driver from another company would of booked a days holiday to go and drive for him.. IMHO
