We have a lot of Le Creuset, all cast iron pans used to be sanded prior to leaving the factories in USA however some firms stopped sanding to save costs, made in USA was added in 1960.........
I used to sand old cast iron pans prior to reselling used to be a good earner, but as time went by online sales killed the good finds...........

Wasted by some in survival situations, by the way it's cooked, just saying like............
Cast iron pans can also break and let you down, many moons ago early trappers found this out.
Only one person researched this prior to going onto the 100 day TV show.
The show gets 20 k applications......... Most take cast iron pans..................

Down under farms became dust bowls due to cutting down trees, raised the salt water levels that killed the grass, goats down under and in the US farmed more now, goats can eat plants the will kill other animals and humans.

Got me thinking why 40 years to break even on some new farm buys in the US.......

Used to be in some area's people would just move onto a farm that was called in by the banks in the 1970's
