We’ve been punished way too hard for this RNS. TXP been going down for 3 months, and now bursting into flames with this RNS
This has got to be one of the dumbest posts I’ve ever read...
Correct! And I assume they would like to get this agreement completed before planning any drilling on this location
Ref RNS 30.12.2021.
The negotiations for a new 10-year LOA were extended to March 31. We should receive some news about this shortly
Must be suspended or something, cant buy xD
Construction started 15th, as per Facebook post from Touchstone and Primera. Also a confirmation of progress where Txp postet a picture of the skid a few days ago
Remember they’re going back and forth, so not 2 weeks x 6 sones, more like 2-3 weeks x 3 zones.
They would’ve tested after drilling, but there was only one access road so they couldn’t while drilling Casca Deep
Oil price above 65$, if we were profitable at 25$ we must be making a killing now. PB certainly knows what he’s doing when he talked about drilling more cheap oil wells later this year
I cant believe the **** some companies send out RNS for, so i like PB’s approach. That being said, dont tell us that we’d be notified when permits are approved, and then only tell people who ask.
I’m hoping it comes down to availability of rigs. But I’m good with drilling these cheap dev. wells to the west, as they’re quick to profit and a good diversification going into 2022 where oil prices will most likely go up.
Agree. Its strange to see Canada lagging as they’ve usually been leading. But I’m sure it’ll pop shortly, escpecially if we get some update
There’s a really important aspect to this as well; We’ve already got the rig, just needs the crew. Sp shouldnt be many delays here, as I understand they’re already on the island
I think getting Coho on stream is what could give us the cash to drill Steelhead. If we get 5-6 months of production prior to this well thats 2.5-3 MUSD to use for this.
The Chinook and Casca Deep part doesnt make sense. It says Chinook testing is delayed by 1-2 weeks, but Casca Deep testing is on track, and that we can still expect results before end of Q1.
It also states that the next Exploration well (Royston i presume) could be the largest yet, stating 100-500bcf is possible. If its only 100-500bcf, that wouldnt even make this the largest as Cascadura is bigger than that.
I can only imagine :) Trust is good, but control is better Photo, so nice initiative sending them an email!
I think this article is wrong. It seems they’ve mixed up Chinnok and Coho, because Coho is not connected with Cascadura
Hi Smasher, I was talking about Coho, as written in the subject :) I’m expecting Coho to be the next news
PB said we should receive final approvals in the start of Feb, and we’d be notified when they do. So I’m expecting a RNS next week
Touchstone is mentioned in this article.

Nice find, they definitely need more gas now!
