Hi Min
What do you think the timescales are to start mining once the permit arrives? You state that it’s as easy as getting some face shovels. What other kind of infrastructure would need to be in place before they can start?
Jon.
Sam, I'm also a very LTH. I bought in when it was sunrise diamonds as a sideways investment from my TYM holding. Back then it was just spare change investing and I was perhaps a thousand down. I've added over the last year so now have an average of 0.12p. Generally, I have learnt quite a lot from this board but PJ has brought the tone right down. Fulmar is probably right. He's best ignored.
I really don't wish to engage with PJ but perhaps some of the other LTHs could confirm my understanding.
The permit that PJ linked to does indeed say 2 years to build and 5 years for beneficial use. However, there is a prior temporary permit. which states 1 year to build and 1 year for beneficial use. Both permits state "ready for action" on the listing, but when you look at the actual permit application it looks like they have been approved.
So, I'm guessing that "ready for action" will change to full "Permit", once Liberty and SRES give the go ahead. No point having a water permit actioned until we have the mining licence.
Next, I believe that the first permit will be utilised as soon as the mine has been developed and is up and runnning. How long does it take to put all the infrastructure in place for the mine? I'm guessing up to 12 months. So the build time for the water pump states 12 months to allow us time to put everything in place for the mine? It won't physically take 12 months to install a water pump and flow meters etc. The "estimated time to complete the application to beneficial use" in the temporary licence is 1 year. I think PJ is miss-understanding this line. I think this relates to how long does the company want to use the water for?
So with the full permit, the build time is 2 years. Not because that is how long it takes to get the pump up and running but because that is when we expect to want to be working off the full permit rather than the temporary permit. The "estimated time to complete the application to beneficial use" for 5 years, is again, not how long it will take to get things up and running but how long we will want to use the permit for. This ties in with the 5 year lease agreement with Liberty. I would then envisage an application to renew the water permit close to the end of that deadline.
Do others agree with my understanding of the water permit situation?
LastCoyote.
That’s a large holding. I have 800,000 at an average of 1.5p. I’m fairly hopeful that it will get back to that level. The rampers got it half way there a few weeks ago.
My concern with Nevada MB is that the 4th drill was in 2017. Scoping study was due for completion in 2019 but the August presentation didn’t give any updates. It mentions processing being complex so it could mean that the costs of processing don’t make it economically viable. Hence they’ve gone quiet? If it was viable why not put all efforts and funding into that project? So yes, like you I think that maybe gold is a sideshow. I don’t think this is going to offer big multiples unless Sweden comes good. The posters that have pointed towards Sweden being a hub for electric vehicle batteries keeps me hopeful that we’ll see a change of fortunes.
Hi Mineralex.
Thanks for posting this article. Do you have a view as to why the Nevada gold project appears to have taken priority over the Nevada Fluorspar. The presentation states that there are processing complexities with the Fluorspar and they have recruited the services of a leading expert during testing. This was announced along time ago. Do you think that this project isn’t economical due to the processing problems?
I’ve been holding since 2007 and have been waiting on the Sweden project. We live in hope that the appeal is favourable there. I’m just not sure whether any of the other projects fill me with a high degree of confidence that they will ever take off
Hi Min. I want to echo Dipp666. I find your posts very beneficial and last week I went back over the last 2 years. Full of great information. Please don’t stop posting on account of one or two individuals.
The grinding info was just some added clarity that some of us that are less informed probably didn’t understand. Thanks for asking the question SG.
So it looks like all the ducks are aligned, we just need that permit. Would be great if we get news on the 17th but If we don’t I’m sure it will follow soon enough. GLA
Fair, comment Rodster. I'm not too concerned about the cloak and dagger stuff personally. He comes across as genuine to me and I always look forward to his posts even though the odd one or two can be a bit vague. I always thought his vagueness on some post was because he doesn't want to let on how much he knows about operations but Sam has put me right on that front.
Either way, I'm enjoying everyone's posts.
Interesting reading through Mineralex's historic posts. He only posts on the SRES and TYM boards. I have my suspicions that he is somehow linked fairly closely to the companies or perhaps knows PC or other members of the board on a personal level?
Rodster, Min has disclosed his holdings previously. His post of 11th Aug 19 included the following : -
Mineralexp. 65 million .
W
X. = 170 ???
Y
Z
I read that as he holds 65m and his friends hold 170m between them. If you look at his post history he has also made additional purchases since August so his holding will now be higher.
Hi Min.
Thanks for the information. My understanding from your posts is that Pi's holding 30% is deemed a high percentage and is therefore beneficial? To teach the uneducated, what are the benefits of a large Pi holding? Does it mean as a group we could have some kind of influence over the company?
Just checked my trading history and I original bought in 2011 at 4.75p. Ouch. It was on the back of holding TYM which I bought into in 2008, which has also seen similar drops in the share price. Anyway, based on the positivity of most of the posters on here over recent months and all the great research links you have posted I have averaged down quite substantially. I'm confident that I'll come of this quite nicely. Better to dream about the upside than dwell on the downside I say. GLA.
