Well those who took up this placing voted against this sort of thing at the agm. They were buying between 5 and what, 5.5p? 6p? On the open market. Had to hurt. This placing lowers their average somewhat.

The previous 5p raise with Schroeder was over priced BMB.

The lack of any volume in trading since the site visit starts to raise eyebrows here.

I have a feeling there is some cln being prepared in the background. Perhaps a placing with warrants. Either that or else those who went to see the operations weren't impressed enough to buy any substantial amount on the open market.

Bolgas - Botswana changed over their mining codes recently. This led to delays last year for mtr drilling permits. Have any mines been given the go ahead for construction under the new plan? Minor delays and cockups on both sides are inevitable.

People however get the impression that mtr are 100% immune to such factors because..well...just because really!

The discussion at the time was about permitting in general, across all mining companies. The effects delays or refusals can have.

Today, BKY and ARS holders know too well about that. They were lucky in a sense the companies weren't suspended.

Mtr have been hit with delays. No refusals or major setbacks yet thankfully.

How many of those bky or ars holders were thinking there could be socio issues or permitting affecting them today? Huge loss of capital to boot? Not many I would say. And you?

Am I saying the same will happen with mtr. Not quite. But anything is possible.

Holders should be aware of the issues and keep track themselves. That's the gist of it. Simples.

I would have posted a slightly more relevant repost of my commentary on the matter but from my brief check, it would appear that those in disagreement at the time got them removed. What's new.

Needless to say, all the sheeple slated me at the time for it. How dare I raise the issue of permit delays, no goes etc.

Apologies Mike for throwing you under the bus here, but to illustrate the point..you were willing to buy at 3.88 a week or two ago. Schroeder's last year above 5p.

To avoid a pump and dump scenario, either voice some dissent to force the private raise at a small premium or at least par, or say £1m primary bid at 3.8 or higher if the participants agree to pay less funds but a higher price.

Less dilution suits everyone right??

Shareholders are actually in a very good situation here in one sense. This placing can't go ahead until an egm and a vote on the 2 November. Time to mobilise and get yourself a slice of the action?

What does it take to get another resolution added to the egm agenda?

Remember Schroeder's voted this down previously, so now it's okay once they get the majority of the action at the expense of retail? Nice move by them.

If you can't get the numbers to block or influence the terms, maybe get a few % to draft a resolution asking for say a £1m primary bid raise. See what way the votes go? See whose looking out for who.

Small pis are given a great chance here to defend or support their investment company when it comes to a placing. You've a few weeks to gather what funds you can. If you think 3.5 is a fair price and won't be seen again.

Or you could wait it out and maybe buy lower.

Who knows. How much financial support for equal participation is out there among you all?

Note 13 on their annual report was truncated, which was unfortunate, as it says that €2.3m of loans were converted into 400m odd shares in march 18.

The important bits are missing. My question is, do RRR still maintain their 22% stake or has that been diluted??
