Oleo : In my opinion you do not make a fair comparison , to put it simply if you are building you are erecting a permanent structure , and the land built upon will not be intended to go back to green field , where as with oil gas or any other type of exploration , it is generally intended that where possible the land will be returned to the owner/leaseholder and go back to its original use , when the gas/oil or other has been removed , nice to see this been done in a controlled and orderly manner , long live our planet.
I called the U K number and was given the option to submit a question , I declined as thought better to leave it to those who might know more than me . Overall I was quite happy with what Philip and the other gentleman had to say , and in particular his answers to Kevin,s questions , ie working in the Beetaloo things can change very fast . Thankfully I am one happy Falcon punter , and looking forward to 2021 . Couldn.t resist a small top up .GLA
W W Thank you very much for your post which I totally agree with , yes there has been a minor setback , but the dingo has not come in the night and stole the star prize . I look forward to tuning in this afternoon to listen to our star commentators from this BB , and as my Dad told me the more hurry the less speed . GLA
Great to see so many offering their advice to Falcon and Origin , did either of them get to where they are on the advice of PIs advice, its a few weeks until Christmas , and we are still well and truly in a pandemic , perhaps if we take stock of exactly where we are at ,and be grateful it is going to be a good well , whenever it happens , one my dad told me a long time ago " the more hurry the less speed " GLA jfh
Newtofo : Yeah Origin out and Empire in listen to lots of stuff people want to hear , steady as she goes Origin & Falcon will deliver for sure , If this is not a winner pigs will definitely fly , keep a look out your window GLA jfh
Newtofo : Thank you very much for your excellent post , and you also raised the point that Origin could have been better prepared for this scenario . Perhaps the point will be raised at the Origin Investor Day assuming there is a Q&A opportunity , this is my first experience with " fracccing " so if I sometimes I do,nt get it right please understand GLA jfh
Havanska : In what way , or on what issues has Philip not communicated adequately , and do you really think he needs your advice or suggestions , and what makes you say the board here agrees that Philip is a skilled negotiator but a poor communicator , where does this come from . jfh
I topped up this morning , more ways than one off skinning a cat , minor setback that can probably be sorted , no guarantees in this game , grateful the vaccine has arrived , lots more to life than share dealing , having read through some posts this morning there was some suggestions that perhaps Origin should have had the equipment in place to deal with the problem seems good in hindsight , but where do you draw the line .
With regard to how FOG and Origin run the show , I am not qualified to comment , and all the words that are posted on here are not going to make even the slightest bit of difference .
My honest opinion is that it will all come good in the end , when will that be , any one,s guess, stay safe an GLA jfh
