@Saint Tropez let me explain in simple terms to fuel your conspiracy theory.
I added more at 3.7p the highest i have paid for ADV which i still hold. I also bought some low 2s and i hold quite a few before consolidation. (ISA now full up)
If you actually read the thread re the £1 target you would know the £1 target is a joke target that as been used on AIM for many many years and if you took that seriously then im afraid thats on you.
If you dont want the bought in / sold out narrative then you can easily filter me. Its not a problem as you obviously dont want to hear different opinions on price action.
As for derisking its an individual decision and dependent on what your avrage price is against your risk appetite.
A few days ago on twitter some some poor sod posted about HE1 turned £50k into £6k and in his own words i should have derisked when i got the chance but now ive lost everything.
Now why dont you go back through all my posts and post up all the positive posts i have put up about ADV..

@ontarget imo with spud only 8 to 10 weeks away this is the ideal time to derisk. If you are looking at big players they will be buying/selling big figures around this price. I bought in very early and have derisked to virtually having a free run at it now..

@ontarget I would suggest they do more research than most who post on BBs. Each drill must be treated in the same way as every other drill 95% COS or not. If you have a trading strategy that as worked for years then why would you change it. The only difference i can see here is how much they have on the table when the results come in.. With a 95% COS they may have more on the table (derisked) than say another AIM oiler with a 50% COS..

As ive said previously i dont think there is mysterious sellers lurking in the background, imo the price action is typical of these types of investments. Big buys followed by sells but still accumulating and derisking at the same time. Control the VWAP you control the SP.. Buy at 3p offload some at 3.5p rinse repeat until you have a free run at the spud date. "They" know the majority of these drills are dusters (spits on floor) so they know coming into the results they dont want too much risk on the table.. aimho

Once drilled and logged the well will be suspended and then a FID (Final Investment Decision) will be made..
I wouldnt worry about how much oil there is until the data has been gathered.
IMO if there is what we believe there is they will sell it to the highest bidder. aimho

The rule of thumb is stocks/shares/markets are in consolidation for 70% of the time which basically means for 2 months out of every 3 you will be bored s**tless. It basically means positions have been taken and invsestors are waiting on news or any new information wether to Buy/Sell /Hold..
