Online always going to come up trumps, vs high street. My step daughter buys from Boo Hoo too. As for me i bought some jeans and coats for John Lewis, online. I got the size i wanted and the thing is, if i went to store would i have got these items in that store, in that size? i doubt it. Ordering online and picking up in store is the other option to getting it delivered, but same principal really. do i want to drive in to town in this covid world!
all i know that looking at previous prices on the high and low within a period it dropped by 10p, almost every time, i'm no chartist but it seems to be a pattern here. I'm only in for 3k at 37p so not a big buyer, but i think i'll increase my holding asap. If it goes lower than 51p then bless :)
i think it's hit is low, maybe 52. i looked at this:-
10p april 3rd
19p april 7th
15p april 21st
27p april 29th
18p may 14th - ranging 18 to 23
22p june 4th before 43p
43p june 9th - low 32p until 5th august when it hit 63 on the 18th august.
Seems to go down 10-11p from the high, then next leg up. I think 52p is the low for now.
Yes getting the tip from ADVFN board i looked at the last few RNS, big buy ins from II. With this, the price fell from the + quid mark pre covid. I think these are good bet, travel stocks worth watching over the next 4-5 months, maybe longer. Sometimes you get the odd ramper who says watch this... Like NCYT at 15p when i saw it, i didn't buy at 19p as i don't like to chase.... oh **** what a mistake!
Agreed, at least they investigating the supply chain now, unlike other companies that use cheap labor and haven't been checked. The younger generation don't care now, it's all fashion and marketing. At least BOO make clothes that look good at cheap prices, unlike the rip off fashion designer labels that are probably paying the workers less. Even looking at a Mcdonalds happy meal, the plastic toy gets chucked on the road after the kid looks at it... now that's polluting the world.
i am avoiding those, but how low can the likes of TUI and CCL go, a bit more i think and i don't think recovery until next year, or if this virus goes away. I'm sure the MM will play them and suck people in. But this seems like a good bet, i not invested yet but nearly purchased today and people need withing country transport. Same as NEX but the recent placement adding more shares always puts me off.
I totally agree, it's at it's lowest and a important transport company, for people who need and depend on it, to get around. I just don't understand why airlines like IAG and travel company TUI go up when quarantine being introduced. Maybe market trapping people before they tank it.
And i don't see grandparents doing that now. They will either be in Assa, smoking, drugs and drinking or all of them at the same time. Or the decent Grandparent will buy a nice pair of clothes and Nike trainers, made in a sweat shop in the far east.
Maybe some care, who knows. All i know when you bring paedo's in to the conversation then they need to be executed, along with murderers, life for a life i say. So yes i am with you on this one. Also we need to look at other companies, more exploit i would say going on. When i left school in 1989 working in a metal factory for 70 quid a week and no safety, when i got lifted 12 foot in the air by a forklift truck and no harness. i say pay the min wage, no exploitation and get these illegals out!
Also you have to remember that most of the customers here are young, so these people don't care where their goods come from, well most of them i would say. They don't even care about the animals getting killed or environment issues. And also, it's online, no shops in high street that could go bust. It's all online now, that's the way it is.
