Aside from all the BS that can be read on this board, I'd be interested in what the community thinks about resolutions 6 (To authorise the Directors to allot shares) and 7 (To disapply statutory pre-emption rights), put to us shareholders to vote on... I find 7 in particular quite extraordinary (although as I understand quite common), as this explicitly bypasses legislation designed to PROTECT shareholders!

Spikes followed by slow erosion, dilution, "massive news" always around the corner yet that never materialise: YES, we've seen it all before... That's not being negative, I WAS THERE so I should know.

However, as pointed out by others, we have to hope that this time, it will be different... What other option is there, apart from cashing in a 75+% paper loss (up from -95%)?

That said, here is a simple FACT not often mentioned: this company is a SURVIVOR! Because, frankly I didn't have much hope for my investment when the SP dropped below ONE PENNY (summer 2023). Yet here we are, with talks of 5p, 10p, FIFTYp!!!!!!! Why not? Please, will the new and sophisticated investors pile in to make this happen, this week/month/year [select your preferred option]!

The absurd situation:

on one hand: "the company continues to generate enough money to cover its shareholder payouts. In fact, its exceptionally cash-generative business model has enabled Foresight to hike dividends every year over the last decade"

on the other: "Personally, the risk and uncertainty are too high for my tastes"

"... placing ... to certain existing shareholders and other investors..." ... Why is it NEVER "to ALL existing shareholders"???? ... (not that I would subscribe, having run out of cash-that-I-can-afford-to-loose a long time ago!)

Winding down the company would mean selling everything and shareholders get the cash... It's instant gratification Vs X years waiting for a turnaround ... I'll be voting against, because not only I believe in the project, but also, as has been already said, they won't be realising the full value of their assets if they're forced to sell (and I can afford to wait, which is really what it boils down to)..

Why don't we turn those questions into a general poll of the 80M ccommunity?

1. Is it likely or unlikely that Disko will be drilled this year? UNLIKELY

2. Is it likely or unlikely that Jameson Land will have a partner this year? UNLIKELY

3. Is it likely or unlikely that there will be production at Greenswitch this year? LIKELY (because technically that's probably the most ready-to-go)

Well, well, well!!! ... [RM said] "It's a paradigm shift in sentiment" ... We just hope this will last more than a week!

It seems to me that what we're really waiting for here, is a change in "sentiment"... My impression (coming from the general press) is that it's been negative towards mining in general in the last few years, but could be about to turn (has already started to turn?) ... When this happens, probably suddenly partners and money will appear, projects will quickly move forward and SP will rocket. If timing is wrong, SP will eventually reach 0 and that will be it.

So for 80M, it's all a question of SURVIVING and remain on the radar of would-be partners/investors until that time.

I am still holding, still hoping, but not expecting much in the near future... After all, even at 0.4p, with a capital made of "1,195,885,079 Ordinary Shares of 0.01p each", there is indeed still plenty of room for the potential to loose 90% of your stake before things get better.

Correction: "... RNSes that read LIKE we'll all be millionnaires..." ... (by the way, bots probably do not correct their own mistakes (as Ashton reguarly does) as they wouldn' t "think" they make any!)

I LOVE the idea of chatbots infiltrating the JAY share chat board!!! ... If true, indeed the bot sentiment woud be extremely bullish, as all it would have to go on would be years of hopeful, positive RNSes that read that we'll all be millionnaires this time next year ... ... If only the bots could also open their own trading accounts and start BUYING the &%$ shares!

Well I suppose at least the company can now survive a little longer, maybe long enough to release that much awaited, phenomenal imminent news that will make the SP grow 10-fold overnight!

I too am a long-suffering BlueJay shareholder, I bought at 17, at 12, at 9, at 5 and even recently at 1.75, still losing money! ... So I do hope that the much anticipated "imminent" news will be so phenomenal that the SP will grow 10-fold overnight, if possible before said SP reaches 0. .. Somehow, it seems unlikely... Still I am grateful to A-sh-ton and others for trying to keep the optimism alive, please keep posting.
