Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What makes you state they have finished selling?
The RNS is a requirement when they breach theshold levels and is reportable in specific time frames. We could get another tomorrow, next week, next month saying that they have reduced again and triggered a threshold. They still have a lot they can sell without having to be reported via RNS
Bushveld are at a different stage to ironveld although this does give an indication of where we could get to if the dot ma are Joined.
My view is that we are keener on getting the partner that just the offtake agreement. If it is either nor then the partner must be of some size and scale that there isn’t enough for both. Risk / reward play.
Maybe the following is why we haven’t seen a signed offtake -
...”with the intention of either concluding an agreement with one of the parties involved or completing an off-take arrangement with a third party.”
Reads to me that it’s one or the other - not both
FYI I didn’t say the accounts would be released in September - I stated that they are required by law to file accounts by September. Not a damper or deramper -
Just saying it as it is - shame you appear to only see one side to Sqz. You will learn over time
newCOTB
not quite sure what you are implying - I’m well researched thank you.
It was purely a question as to when we are expecting annual accounts. As most will know statutory accounts only have to be registered with Companies house 9 months after the financial year end. This makes it 31st September for SQZ with a financial year end 31st December
My comments was simply do we think or does anyone know whether we will get them sooner than thenlike will did last year?
Disappointing but has to be expected when in E&P shares. My main worry is that they are now debating what to do next at COP5. time and delays usually means price drifts but hopefully Co will furnish us with other positive info on other prospects / developments
100% agree Sasa43. As per BKR deal we are entitled to percentage of NET revenue therefore our CT losses are not used but can be carried forward and offset against other/future profits. Can’t remember what section it was in the BKR document but i remember reading it
You state that our market cap is Shocking low at the moment. Could you state where it should be please and your evidence. My understanding is that the market cap and share price is dictated by the markets. If there is more demand than supply the MMs move the price up to balance supply and demand etc.
I agree to some degree with nickel investor. The gas price is relevant. Companies will secure sales on a future price basis. If prices are Lower then the futures they are securing will be Lower and therefore lower income/profit.
No different to any other commodity producer - Market price will dictate value and also impact on investor sentiment
Don’t want to be negative here bayishope but the MM arent valuing upside because it is only potential. Just like the potential in 2018 with drilling schedule and all the drills that never happened. The only thing that going to drive this forward is action (which we are starting to see) and results (which we are hoping to get)
All talk and no action has been the norm here for a good few years but the tide appears to be turning. Fingers crossed
Don’t agree with your concern over timescales - this is a long term offtake agreement with a major international end user - I think stating weeks is very ambitious and shows their desire to move quickly. It can take months to colclude contracts on a property purchase so think we need to bring the time Line into perspective
