thanks all for input, not too much moves today for me as well, few longs some shorts, barely 30 pips, missed profit few times as i think ftse wont go over 5720 today so boring day :) dev i really doubt it will break this resistance, and even if it does pound has been carried on ftse rally lately Just tested 577.6 , and well it broke it ... lets see what happens now. Getting interesting

morning all pound heading for critical resistance, critical for me though as i am short big time, anyone think we will pass resistance? Not too much steam in the pound itself rather than rallying with ftse. Got no other resistance till 880-900.

no farmer sorry, had no time to compare the targets you gave me fo the euro, just started trading it, maybe thats one of the reasons i fail to get any from the euro, thank God pound is nice to me :) I will check during the weekend for sure, checked pound, btw at the moment has inverse h&s, staying bullish, 16770 somewhere there (from memory) was the next big resistance, so relatively safe to long the pound (medium-long term).

hi farmer, busy with the ftse, again wrong decisions on the euro so barely escaped there, pound has been ok for me, problem with euro is too volatile on news, debt issue, usa decisions and all that, while pound is more relaxed and obeys charts most of the time perfectly.

closed the short , could not ignore 14 pips, thats a lot in one trade for me ;) waiting for a retest of the resistance

morning all, short on the euro at 169 , thanks for the post in regards to euro, think that was the top for today(or at least for this run) although euro still remain bullish.

farmer could be, since 12:36 we have been in a bullish channel, i would be away dont want to risk on any news to come out and catch me with pants down, and i have no idea what will happen on the meeting

farmer you win, i left the game :) will tell you my view on the euro later, basically i look for long term supp/res + very short term, so i know where i am heading + my trading is based on very short inervals, usually 2-3 pips to 7-9 at the most, rarely i let it run longer, so 15 min is the highest i use. But will tell you later my view. Got long on the pound so scrapped 8 pips there , will short big when 600 gets hit

long on euro at 961.8 , think is heading back to 13000, will surely test 980 i will check your supp/res levels now , thanks for sharing :)

farmer yes, made almost 70% back from todays loss so trying to b/e and i am out just made another 6 pips from shortng pound from 598 another 40 to go :)

farmer i guess the analysts were correct , thanks for posting that, barely staying alive this morning could not wake up in the morning so missed the action with the pound, was just bottoming when i logged in, was thinking of testing lower levels, decided to play risky and lost few hundred pounds, so now back at scrapping :) knew the gdp will be lower , its been on the news for quite some time about economy contracting but just missed the opportunity with going short on the pound, well now staying and watching as its very dangerous to take any positions, i have had number of chart patterns getting confirmed the first 2-3 moves then acting totally out of character breaking in the opposite direction so i will avoid taking risky trades or probably any trades at all today good day all

will add if it hits 605.6 , hmmm pounds still bullish, euro might head for 1300 , on a crossroad actually now ...

devonian yes i am still looking which one i read best and i think pound is my favourite, euro is lining up as well so might that be btw just shorted pound 600.1

well out at 593 on pound and 977 on euro, dont want to risk it going further, so another 20 pips :)

true, F430, thats why i closed one short already, so i got only one going march contract, so yea good day :) long now on pound 583 and long euro 977 , both currencies turning bullish now, well they lost lots during the day anyway, but both holding up well, medium term i got pound bullish as well while euro is a bit gloomy although has a bullish formation ...

just opened the site, thanks will defo check it out, maybe i should concentrate on 1 play as well dont know would like to keep myself busy, will see, dont do this as a job, its been a hobby for me, not a pro, not read even a single book, but might start paying more attention to it, as i like it and apparently i get good calls once in awhile :)

got the pound out for 3 pips but all out at the moment, think pound is going bullish so no trades for the last 25 min, just playing with kids and relaxing eyes :)
