Its a maximum of 6.7m shares on BGF conversion. Then they’re done and all debt cleared.

The £9.1m reference I believe is book-keeping/accounting.

The Beckman Coulter collaboration continues despite the vaccine news. This has been confirmed in the rns today.

Push through the noise to see what’s coming - testing contracts which should bring in significant revenues. GLA investors.

FDA interaction this month may be because of the work we’re doing with Beckman Coulter - high throughput automation which by now has probably been tested e2e and our BC friends may now be supporting us with the FDA.

‘ David Budd, Chief Executive Officer of genedrive plc, said "We have a collaboration agreement with Beckman Coulter which includes genedrive validating the analytical parameters of the combined companies' offerings, and Beckman Coulter establishing the mechanics and automation of the overall workflow. Once our product performance is established, we plan to introduce the overall solution in stages, beginning with swab-based claims and then transitioning to saliva claims thereafter. The FDA places specific prospective clinical performance requirements on validation of saliva samples, which will take additional time. Our initial US evaluation site is currently being installed following the completion of our internal validation studies, after which they will validate the end-to-end solution as required. We will obtain regulatory approvals prior to a final solution release." ‘

It’s now 7 weeks on, or 9 weeks if the poster who was told that it took 2 weeks to get the rns out was correct.

In that time, the lab must be set up and the end to end process validated. Hopefully we are just waiting on FDA approval and then we will get an update to say we’re up and running (with US orders lined up too).

Whatever the update on Tuesday, the above can’t be far away.

BC recently rolled out an antibody test. Other test companies are continuing with this work. I don’t think they would be spending time and money on testing if it wasn’t worth it. The commercial opportunity must still be there.
