It's another indicator that whilst edge solutions and adoptions are expected to grow significantly the actual revenue to providers is only starting to trickle in. There seems to have been rather large speed bump here which held actual contract signings and real revenue back whilst companies reviewed what this all mans to them. Essentially this appears to have "struggled" forwards. Hopefully companies like BATM will start to see some benefit. "finally"

There has been a bit of chat on twitter/X generally speaking the move is well received. Hopefully we will see some traction with Edgility. A huge amount of money and effort has gone into designing this Edge solution. It was at one point well ahead of any known competition.

Mexico and Brazil are very large markets and this is now the 3rd or 4th major tie up they have made in the region. Certainly did not expect this but they have done trade shows in the area. Bottom line revenue from Edge platforms has been slow to make a meaningful contribution for companies offering these solutions as the Telecom sector is notorious for delays in adopting a new direction. Background noise suggests the sector may be finally moving in a better direction.

Had Telco systems not made a total Horlicks of the situation the company would have met or exceeded market expectation. Company restructuring makes sense. There are new diagnostics platforms in the mix that look very interesting. Cyber needs to get that new tie up with "the partner" going and achieve sales.

Company clearly cant run Telco systems and never could and in my opinion should sell it to someone who can.

Were this a newly launched company with the IP that BATM has then the SP would probably be @200p range. Issue here is that this is not a start up and there have been too many promising starts with no follow through. BATM is an established company and is valued on its sales not the value of its IP and seeing the sales haven't matched the hype we are at these levels. Last reporting period was disappointing and we are at bargain basement prices so there is plenty to play for if Sales improve or a division is sold off etc. True its "trending" marginally higher

Unless someone has access to sales information not in the public domaine From all accounts revenue from Edge Based platforms is only just starting to crop up. BATM Telco systems made it clear some time ago that this would be a cumulative growth model. In other words customer base would expand as initial clients retained. Its chain letter or Pyramid growth style so early days will just see a trickle but after 2 or 3 years the revenue could be very significant. It's good news but as usual few understand it.

The NatLab reader implementing Isothermal Amplification for speed and accuracy is a $1bn item if they can get it to market. Odds became slightly better today with this announcement.

Other background news suggest they will meet year end expectations with H2 being better than the disastrous H1 for networking.

Thanks for the feedback. Given the size of Telco systems and the number of people working there, providing hands on guidance for a client to change their systems over to adopting this platform, must be a constraint as to how many clients they can even handle at one time. As this becomes more of an automated process through providers the situation should improve. We do read about companies starting to use Edge technology but its hardly mainstream yet and as commented. SP is priced to reflect where we are at not the potential.

One of the problems in looking at Edgility is that there is not much indication generally as to what "any" of the earlier edge platforms are generating in revenue. A lot has been spent developing this but revenue flow is probably not meaningfully in anyones bottom line just yet. This is a totally different approach and the recent announcement we were told that this had taken a substantial amount of time to trial and replace. The reason we are told is that the client replaced all of its legacy equipment.

There are indications that clients switching to platforms like Edgility will probably take much longer than we originally thought due to the ramifications for the client, they cant get this wrong . This would indicate much longer trialing phases before acceptance and contracts.
