no competion regarding the bulk of your program ... no competion regarding your cancer treatment , the reason behind that is the tumour mass will never be allowed to get going .. as the vaccine would be used in the early stages ...of cancer ... vaccine ready for trial is SCib2 for lung cancer, Scib1 for melanoma in trial2 already .. we have Prostrate cancer nearly ready and two more but we dont know the target yet. then of course we have a further platform moditope which is even more powerful. so we hope that the cancer is killed before its becomes metastatic. The immunobody platform can be used to create any Dendritic cells cell response even HIV and its not patient specfic so you can mass produce the vaccine ... if you look up dendritic cell vaccines and see how much cash is being pumped in you will understand that any Chemo in cancer treatment i would say with in 7 years would be coming to an end. I always research the competion ... and as yet there is none to SCLP

pose a question for you as a big Pharma ... looking in ... they have just read what Scancell vaccine has done in phase 1 trial and phase 2 is well underway results due in 8 months ... would you sign a deal now on an inhibitor including SAR or wait 8 months to get the results of a phase 2 in a vaccine that has shown huge clinical benefit in phase 1 with a platform that already has a further 4 vaccines in development ... and the company has put itself up for sale .. food for thought ... my last post

this is not an attack on SLN ... this is a debate on one part of there range, i am well aware of all the good things going on here so you dont have to defend SLN ...now you just mentioned a possible income over the course of many years generating $200m .... out of that you have to run and develop the company further. and fund further trials ... and the key word possible ... so how can there be talk of a £1.8 billion takeover ? which is what caught my eye in the first place ....

Scancell developed there vaccine for £4m .... where on earth are you going to raise £1 billion dollars that research would take 10 years and 20 years to achieve a commercial product ... if it works ... but unless you prime the immune system i do not see how in the short term you can say that an inhibitor can cure cancer ... you cant ... its all there in that RNS ... you need Chemo ... even then you are 2 years away from a phase 2 trial .. as you still have to test safety issues raised by adding chemo ...

your treatment is not a cure .. you can read that your self ... you can halt the spread of cancer in 1/3rd of the patients on your trial but you do not have a cure ... thats why you need to run a second trial with Chemo .. sorry your only using inhibitors ... Scancell can create an immune response to any cancer ... i suggest you read your own phase 1 result ...

I am not comparing Bio ........... i am comparing treatment of cancer ....... Chemo has to be taken out of the treatment its like hitting a fly with a shot gun ... you smash the cancer but loads of the other parts in Humans to mention Chemo to any one and they know what a deal it is .........SLN needs Chemo in its lead product .... all i am saying is Scancell do not need this ... you are actually making the situation worse .. so please be quite its nothing to do with you ...

Just read Dstanley post .. nobody is saying that your lead product is not good ... i think what Dstanley is saying is it requires Chemo, your inhibitor has slowed down the growth of the cancer but does not have any means of destroying it. It has to use the old sledgehammer of Chemo ... where as immunobody takes the cancer at stage 1 in the cycle so surgery removes bulk tumour and then Scancell immunobody cleans the body of any stray cells. But it has shown to be able to remove bulk tumour as per the RNS. what Scancell are now doing is to increase the dose to 8mg to see the effects at higher dosage on tumour reduction. The immunebody has now 5 vaccines on the go .. Scancell has an end point this year ... it will be sold to the highest bidder ... and there is nothing on the market or in trial that comes any where near to whats being achieved. All the best
