Diberg very kind of you bud ,just frustrated that my pot was almost at 50k a year or so ago only to plummet in the last six months to 35k ,this is my only money now so you can imagine how disheartened i get,almost 40k at the moment and my only position is gvc.My biggest cock up was losing 4k in CARILLION.

nice one ken,myself i inherited a house from me dad in 2002 decided to rent it out and got tenants from hell ,put me off and sold it in 2005 and just put the money in building society and was quite happy getting the interest,didn't like taking risks then,i had the chance to buy a house at the bottom of my road with onlt a small mortgage but didn't do it ,would of been worth fortunes now, the 100k plus i had started getting eroded due to zero interest rates,ended up buying the mrs a car and spending cash on my house,etc eventually my attitude to risk changed and i decided to start buying shares,my pot is still down about 7k overall due to gvc and glen,hindsight is great though ah,i just wish i had bought another property, i dont have a mortgage but feel like i have shafted myself.
