Thanks Anapa i have the same problem with dividends going in a little late,I think the gvc thing is kinda sorted,I was given 443 gvc shares plus £1028 in cash in take over i was down before deal in being i held 3145 shares in ladbrokes at 185.8 average and the price showing at last trading of them was 173.50 so almost 13p a share down.I topped up in gvc with 1150 shares as price dropped about 70 odd pence but ig did not add them to my 443 holding and they showed as two seperate postions.they are now showing as one but only showing the book cost of the 1150 i just bought but current value includes the 443, so a combined total of 1593 they said the 443 was based on a sp of 910 when the deal was completed with ladbrokes ,my buy of 1150 was at 905p all abit of a cock up since last week,was thinking of checking with gvc to see if the conversion of shares was accurate?

explain then because when i had shares at a low price and have topped up then sold a chunk equivalent to the last batch bought,my original holding at the lower sp are then at a higher average?

Anapa when you jave bought at all different levels from low 399 to possibly 600's you end up with a much higher average as the shares are all lumped together? how can yoi sell those bought low from those bought high then ?

Anapa tell me your secret to the unlimited buying??

first time it has happened mate the 443 shares were my exchang for my ladbrokes one's then o added but came up as a seperate position.
