Good luck Wasa. I’m in a similar, albeit slightly smaller, boat…I personally always appreciated your input and analysis. We got it wrong. That’s fine. I’ve made plenty of good decisions elsewhere which means I can live quite happily with the losses made here. I don’t seek or expect sympathy from anyone. My own mistakes led me here. No biggie. Life goes on and I’ll stick to real estate from now on.. 😂 all the best to all genuine LTH’s and the rest of the clowns can take a long walk off a short plank…

Unfortunately this was an all or nothing shot, and we ended up losing. There is no question the product was good enough, sadly for the investors, the management weren’t. That’s the bottom line. A better (or even vaguely capable) management team would have been able drive this forward. This was a stark and painful demonstration that a product being good isn’t enough to create a business, you need a management team capable of getting it to market to succeed. Cheers SL

Hi BM, My experience of the credit approval process is limited to large commercial property finance so the process may differ here of course. Typically, once the DD has been carried out and the commercial terms agreed in principle, the application is submitted and goes in front of perhaps a local, then full credit committee (depending on quantum and complexity) before a decision is made. In my experience (which as I said isn’t mining finance) banks/funders don’t tend to take applications of this size to the credit committee without a high degree of confidence of being approved. Too much work involved!! Fingers seriously crossed here….AIMHO

Everything is relative mrcautious. But as I said earlier. Lessons learnt over past few years having been a little bit over zealous perhaps in the past!! There are easier and safer ways of making a healthy return. I’ll be sticking to the day job after this ride is over....

MrCautious. Believe me. The numbers are real. I’ve learnt some painful lessons on Aim over the past few years. It’s a lot of money but I might as well follow this to its natural conclusion. Either way it won’t kill me. Some you win, some you lose. There is no doubt the prospect of very rapid profit can be intoxicating. Average is probably around 60p so I’m miles under water but I’ve done ok on my core business over past few years so I ain’t gonna best myself up over this one.
