Today’s trading is entirely due to market sentiment and we saw the initial rise to 10.8. On a normal day in the markets this would probably be 11p now I would imagine on the back of the tip. At the beginning of the week 2 of ST’s o& g tips went up 15% and 20% by the close. We have in fact over recent days seen a good rise from 8p to 10p which has led to profit taking above 10p. We all know even without a tip that this is very undervalued and still having the opportunity to buy at 10p today post tip is a good opportunity to buy.

There are calls for European countries to cut off their gas purchases from Russia even though the country supplies 40 per cent of the region’s gas. The uncertain geopolitical situation has put a rocket under the wholesale price which more than doubled this week to a record intraday high of 465p a therm (15.9p per kwh) in the UK and €200 per MWh (16.6p per kwh) in Europe.

The need for Europe to reduce reliance on Russian energy imports is great news for Chariot ( CHAR:10.1p), an African-focused energy group which is seeking a funding partner for its low-cost flagship Anchois Gas development, offshore of Morocco. Excess gas will be sold into Europe (‘Bargain shares: Hitting pay dirt’, 10 January 2022).

Clearly if Leap goes down the IPO route figures will have to be released in advance of that. The fact that we have not had an IPO launch suggests to me that a trade sale is the more likely way forward which means one day we will just get an RNS out of the blue. You won’t be buying the shares for less than 6p on that day!

It is certainly interesting to see how Leap is viewed in its industry;

It would seem to support a Leap valuation at the higher end of the figures mentioned some time ago by Ed when he compared Leap to a company valued in excess of £100 million. He also said he wasn’t concerned if the liquidity event took a few months longer than originally expected because the price was moving up all the time.
I am clearly not suggesting Leap’s value is similar to Playtec but that Leap should have a high value relative to other companies of its size.

Jimmy It’s good to see some numbers attached to the gas price rise which are 10x the current share price. Investors should remind themselves of the massive amounts of cash produced by successful O& G companies and commodities Just look at the £ billions dividend s being paid out by Shell, BP, BHP and RIO. CHAR will be a very good share for your pension if it isn’t bought out sooner which has to be highly likely with all the big boys wanting more gas.

Now Up 12.8% and number 6 on the Leaderboard as volume reaches 8.5 million which is the highest this week. Fridays 11.1 million volume was the highest for awhile so it will be interesting to see if we exceed that in the final 3 hours of trading.

A late reported from an hour ago 500000 Buy at 10.6p has just appeared. Looking as if we finally are gaining momentum in a northerly direction!

There we have it 100000 Buy at 10.12p as the volume moves above 6 million.

A 100000 Buy has just gone through at 9.98p so we seem to be making some progress today, as indeed we should with such a positive outlook for all areas of the business.

You have to remember BLU cannot produce news to order much as I am sure it wishes it could. Blu is just a shareholder in the various companies like Dynasty and Satoshipay. BLU can’t release any news unless those companies release the news.
Not sure why people keep going on about Dynasty’s AGM on 28th Feb. Private companies just deal with their statutory duties at AGM’s which usually last about 5 minutes. If Dynasty is doing a deal with big tech it will announce it when it’s done. The big tech company will be listed and can’t have details of a deal released into the market for obvious reasons. Patience is required but I would expect something soon .

There has never been a better time for Phulbari to be approved with the global energy situation and the recognition that coal is vital for the production of power. Post COP 26 we know that China and India are committed to coal for at least the next 30 years. Bangladesh is going to continue using coal for its power stations so why would you import coal that is now at a very high price from your neighbours if they will supply you, when you have your own high grade coal at a lower price.
Energy security should be the top priority of any responsible and competent Government. Hasina will have her people questioning her mental competence if she fails to approve Phulbari as a matter of urgency.

Closed Up 12.4% on volume of 528000 and Number 11 on the riser board.Coal is very much in demand and Bangladesh needs to use its own coal if it’s going to keep the lights on and factories producing. Hasina should act before the people of Bangladesh start to get annoyed about the shortage of power and the fact that even if it’s available they can’t afford it.

I think we can all make a good stab at why Ed is quiet at the moment. The news everyone is waiting for is Leap which will soon be sold or failing that an IPO. Last year When Ed said the end of year target for the Leap Sale and the £50 million market cap would probably be missed, he also said this wouldn’t be a bad thing because the value of Leap kept increasing all the time. So the longer it takes the more we get and we are all aware of some of the incredible prices being paid in Leaps marketplace recently.
Ed as a Director of Leap cannot divulge the details of what is happening regarding the Leap negotiations because it would be commercially sensitive to do so. Also as a Director of Blu he can’t say anything about Leaps value until a deal is struck because it would be market sensitive. Ed has given us all the clues he can so we can read between the lines. If you haven’t got the patience for this to play out you should consider selling and put your money elsewhere as the constant deramping is very predictable and tiresome.

I am speculating that as the focus has switched to the discussions they were having with the big tech company they have decided to not release the promised news over the 12 week period because that was intended as the run up to an IPO. As it’s currently a private company there is no benefit to Dynasty releasing information as no one can buy their shares. If they big tech deal doesn’t go ahead they will switch to the IPO and we will get all the news flow.

It’s nearly 11pm in Sydney so if it happened today it would have been hours ago. We should remember it’s a private company so they have no obligation to release details of the AGM. Clearly BLU could attend but not usual in a private company to do anything beyond the statutory business. I suspect they are keeping quiet as they are working on a big deal and have not released any of the news the CEO said was coming in his interview with Derek. He did mention the discussions with global big tech company and I hope that they are continuing to a big number conclusion.

An AT buy at 9.38p is showing the direction of travel.

9p reached as some large buys kick in to take the volume over 3 million. Up 11.1%.

A good start this morning Up 9.9% on volume of 2.2 million. The prices being paid keep moving up so looking as if we have finally started a long overdue rise. The recent news from Namibia should lead to some very nice icing on the cake.

That was really my point that as we await the BFS you might as well buy now as it’s probably as safe a place for your money if you are intending to buy Condor in the near future. I agree a rise to at least 35p prior to news is a likely scenario.
