Another bit of research that I did a couple of months back that re-enforced my decision to buy into Greatland.
I'm not going to get into numbers. The value of the assets that Greatland hold are potentially off the scale that some people could not possibly imagine.

I believe that this will be a ftse company within 5 years. I truly hope we are not bought out.

There is a lot of lse board speculation on the buyout price for Greatland and the highs it may reach.
The link below was released back end of last year. GH talks about a dozen or more potential Havieron's that they hold the land rights.
In the Gregorian calendar I think we are not even on day 1 in this journey and impossible to value.

Re the comments on swimming pools I suspect that may be from the cyclone earlier in the week and certainly not preparation for tailings ;-).

Did a couple of years in a motor home touring Central Europe with my girlfriend and her dog. As magnificent as it is, take the next step if you're inclined. Sailing yacht novice to dayskipper is a two week course and I have been swanning around the Mediterranean now for 5 years in the yacht. 45 feet yacht sleeps 8 and living is cheap. Vino €2 euros a bottle, weekly shop € 40, 6 litres of Belgium lager €4 from Mercadona. Big Brit community living the dream. When Greatland hit £1 in two years or so go for it would be my advice. As Paddy pointed out recently they have positioned three drilling rigs to the north west probably trying to find how far the magnetic ground gravity anomaly deposits extend.

1/ Would my assumption be correct that the remaining six rigs are still operating to meet there commitment to the JV 80km of drilling, so therefore can only be drilling deeper until the reserves bottom out?

2/ If the remaining rigs are not drilling deeper why haven't they moved them elsewhere?

I can imagine Callum and Gervaise eating their breakfast now and pondering what Newcrest have been doing in the last 24 hours and the answer being.....Let's check PaddySat

So I assume that hac 9503 drilled by Mason Geosciences although a shallow drill wasn't a rabbit hole after all. I'm opening a beer to celebrate!

Hi Magic, yes I've sent Paddy the files on twitter. It appears I've gone down a rabbit hole. I was only trying to add value to the discussion which I apologise for but still don't understand the disparity between the Haverion report on Greatlands website and Paddy's observations that no significant deposits were found.

I tend to agree with SocialistB an unfortunate tag for a capitalist ;-).

Companies that stick with their original day 1 business plan tend to go to the wall eventually if they are not prepared to change and think outside the box. There are many examples of this. Rolls-Royce dear to my heart diversified from making cars into making aero engines and then power plants for shipping, oil rigs and green energy. A blue chip company- although like many they will suffer under the current climate.

I doubt if GH had gone to Newcrest and said please drill our gold mines and oh by the way we will become miners if you find is gold would have won them over.

GGP have a very competent CEO and two very good geologists on the team. IMO

Paddy thanks for the corebox link - Fascinating for someone like me with no mining knowledge. As the drilling is still finding mineral deposits at the bottom of the holes I imagine it would be difficult for both parties to agree a MRE leading to the potential extension of the drilling program unless it's possible to include a caveat in the agreement.

Some of these historic holes are outside the current existing drill zones as far as I can tell looking at the map. I don't believe anyone has dialled these numbers into the calculations.

Hi Goldworm - thanks for your reply. Before investing 100% of my savings into Greatland I watched all the Greatland YT videos after a conversation with my brother in law who lives in Perth Australia. GH does reference substantial amounts of cobalt in the core samples.
Finally to hopefully to kill this "questions please if you can" thread once and for all because it's been largely answered, the deepest goldmine currently is AngloGold Ashanti's Mponeng gold mine in Joannasburg at 3.8. kilometres. Well that's what Wikipedia says ;-)
