Suzy - poor show saying walk on water is sexist ridicule - you apparently would defend Kurt come what may from shockingly amateurish interviews to over enthusiastic hyperbole on forthcoming decisions.

To even see this as us and them is far too binary for anyone with a modicum of intelligence. Of course I want a positive decision but I won't tolerate sycophancy and amateur hour towards and from Kurt. He is not delivering on his promises for 2021 and he is not delivering his duty to shareholders with such poor communication and his inability to add value. He is not earning his salary and he certainly hasn't earnt his never ending share options. 7 years and counting - how much more time should he get?
What is the KU going to do anyway - Baylan is off and he was censured already. If we ever do get a decision Kurt will sell this asap after cashing in on his options and move on IMO.

Suzy no-one is bullying BS. He rocked up and was insulting. I disagree with him and you about Kurt. How you think Kurt walks on water is beyond me, especially after 7 years. I want this to work, as do most on here, and yes the situation in Sweden is a scandal but a CEO is judged on results and so far his results are shockingly poor. 7 years of no bankable progress. In bankable I mean shareholder value, which is what it is all about. If he hasn't delivered Kallak then 7 years is enough to deliver elsewhere and he hasn't. Lots gets announced yet he never delivers the follow-up and it is getting worse. At the bare minimum communicate where we are with everything and assume nothing as people fill in the gaps, as a trip to Avenza will testify to that. Has he not worked out yet that Finland and Kosovo have added nothing because saying that "we have a very exciting 2021 ahead of us" does not cut it or add value? Announcing reports on Kallak and not giving shareholders any sizzle from it is him not reading the room. The clamour for any news is palpable and snippets in Swedish papers about Kurt's visits to India etc are irritating as we are left scratching around to find out the latest without anything from the company.
He has to deliver some value and soon. If he ever gets anything sorted with Kallak all will be forgiven, but he seems as far away as ever and his radio silence only seems to confirm it.
Time to deliver Kurt you have had 7 years.

Bobswan why should he get off of his back? Poor/woeful comms from Kurt, frivolous spending on pure punts in kosovo and whatever is going on in Finland, raised expectations of a yes on Kallak, massive dilution and a woeful shareprice. Yes the whole political inertia in Sweden is criminal but Kurt has to be held to account for what is in remit. Undoubtedly he seems a nice enough decent bloke, but if you ask people to stump up cash and don't deliver then he has to be held to account.

I've been a critic of Kurt but he has not thrown in the towel.

Roller it wasn't so clear cut as ibjj says. In short he says the gov says to invest but why would you if there is zero change of opening a mine. The bit ibjj missed out was it was Kurt highlighting the inaction and the paralysis and the opportunity cost to Sweden/environment, but he is also trying to get them to act and put pressure on the powers that be via an opinion piece.
I suspect it is part of a combined strategy to raise the issue and get traction for Kallak, which is his job.

To sum up the RNS - Kurt wasn't in Matalan but on his holibobs and he remains optimistic and he is busy catching up on things like woeful shareholder engagement.

I heard he had been spotted shopping for his Christmas pyjamas in M&S.

It was tongue in cheek -10 years since the last mine and we are nearly 8 years in the application process = hence 2 years.

Does that mean 2 more years to wait for us? ;-)

Agreed Pocko uncorroborated, but this is 'the wulf' and if it is on the Facebook leaky sieve (8 days ago) and hasn't been communicated to us by the company then it has invariably (unfortunately) shown to be legit.
More importantly why haven't we heard a peep from Kurt?
