Could be a quick win

Thinking of investing £500 to make a quick profit

Does anybody think this could drop below 4p and if I bought in before next Monday would I qualify for the 5.5p

Its been building steadily all week and now on the upwards curve. Large regular buys seem to be trickling in and now the frequency is increasing.

Stock market is the same as any trade. Theres asking price and how much people are willing to pay. If it was worth 6, 7, 8p a share somebody would have come in and the BOD would have considered. The simple facts are nobody did. 5.5p is better than administration and 0.0001 per share.

I sold my last stocks in sxx on Tuesday. I would vote take the offer as it's very fair and more than reasonable for where the company is now and how much money and resources AA will have to pump into it.

If people have an interest take the money and buy AA shares. Alternatively close the sorry chapter and forget the project.

Good points theworldisenough. It wasn't for lack of trying and the blaming of the BOD for everything isn't fair.

I see strong words such as criminal and they have cheated us etc. I think it's unfair, they didn't force us to invest. They simply tried and failed. I'm sure every board member will be feeling sick as a dog that its come to this.

It's a risk we take. Not the BOD fault. We decided to back a 200/1 shot in the Grand National and it fell at the first fence. Maybe worth £1 bet but not £10k bet. Blaming the board doesn't change things and not healthy to chase. We have to park it and move on. Maybe even mothballing the SXX board for closure.

I don't think it's as dark and murky as you make out. The BOD would have wanted more than anything for this project to work.

This really good article from the BBC sums it up. The blame is with us who invested. Decisions made from the heart and not the mind.

The checks and balance part of the article I think is a good idea and would prevent this happening on a daily basis.

Looks like the SP starting to fall. If it drops and people buy back in would you qualify for the 5.5p offer still?

I hope for those holding on there is a better offer. I personally sold today. Heart said hold head said sell.

At least its done before administration. We all need to close the book and move onto a new one. It's the risk we all take investing on AIM.
