I wouldn't worry to much about them they are trying to make money by shorting it we are trying to make money going long. One if us will win. Difference is if they lose you won't see them again.
What I tend to look for is if the selling price keeps going up which happened today on here. Says to me that there are more buys than sells and mms collect shares and sell them higher. To do this they must temp people to sell hence the higher bid price.
May be wrong but has worked on a number of shares ive been watching. No where as experienced as you but seems to work.
To be honest if it goes up 10% early tomorrow shorts will be taken off and lbuyers will appear. Like I said just be careful as you could lose out big time.
It's good to hear both sides, cueball sounds as if he is shorting this down to 145. No doubt he will want to buy in then. So it's all a game and he may win but he may lose.
Don't forget a lot of shorts will have been put on this morning after the RNS. They will be coming off tomorrow and combined with buys will push the SP up. So if you are one of the ones shorting it, just be carefull.
Couple of nice buys at the end of day will start up tomorrow. Don't regard myself as a trader but also don't go round knocking companies i don't hold shares in either.

Sounds ok to me.
The group stressed its balance sheet remained strong, saying it "looks forward to sales and profits progression across the group in the coming financial year".
