Those hotels are probably worth more than they were originally valued at in 2010/11. Debt is reducing year on year with this very low m cap there is lots to gain and not much to lose.

That one hotel is probably worth over £10 to £15 million possibly more it is smack bang in the centre of Cardiff and a listed building. I have stayed there once or twice. Nigel As you say it's the debt that may be of worry but if the properties are worth more than the debt then someone will snap them up at a bargain

And they have the majority of shares. The Company holds 49.9% of the ordinary shares of PHP as well as convertible preference shares. If all the convertible preference shares held by the Company are converted into ordinary shares in the future the Company will own 53.28% of PHP, on a fully converted basis. Under previously adopted IFRS, this had required consolidation of the PHP results.

Puma is presently in discussions with Lone Star to explore the options available in terms of banking facilities going forward. It is hoped that these discussions might result in a positive outcome with some potential to enhance value for shareholders.
