What happened to the growth plan where each year more and more electricity is required to grow the economy.

The first thing to do is steady the ship using any means. The have coal plants. Get the plants fed by the cheapest means. Only then can the economy look at future way of transition, 10-20 years in the future.

There are 1100 coal fired plants in China, 285 in India and more to come, and 240 in the USA. None of these are going to come down anytime soon. There’s the context of what the BD government should do.

Whatever they do won’t make a difference to their climate in the future!!
