Ricky, no one can disagree with you. It’s a 14.5 billion dollar project. No wonder they are taking their time with the last keystone agreement.
The project will Development towns, infrastructure, hospitals, schools, spin off industries such as aggregates, cement, bricks, never mind the 50,000 new jobs. All from the decision by the GoB to say “yes”.

This kind of foreign development commitment would come just at the right time to kick start the Bangladeshi economy too.

China is open for business. The only thing that might be difficult to organise are face to face meetings and ceremonies. A project this big they will probably want a signing bash.
We don’t know if they’ll need the full 6 month extension. It might have decided just in case.
The deal might drop in at any time.

China will be after big projects after the Covid debacle. There can’t be many bigger than the Phulbari Energy Project at 14.5 billion USD!!!
