“ Belfast “ will be quite popular I think in the U.K. , set in 1970s Belfast I believe .and the struggles of Kenneth branaughs family as they contemplate moving over to England . as you say cruis a very good British cast , talk already of Awards in the film industry , especially to the young boy who plays Kenneth .

Salam , never thought of it that way , very interesting thoughts and it will be interesting to see if that will be part of the appeal by cineworld in the year or two to come :-)

Completely agree , never was this going to be a fair hearing , over in Canada , anyway , by the time the appeal process is over 1year plus , & mookey has explored all avenues to reduce this ludicrous decision we will be in a much better place when the outcome is decided, for a start where did that judge get that figure of $ 1 billion from ? She was definitely biased towards cineplex , this court case & k2 involvement in hedging absolutely stinks rotten .

Quite right latpulldown , Spider-Man is going to smash all box office takings for , the last 24-36 months as it’s a family movie , showing at the start of this festive period , morning , afternoon , evening shows will be busy & also the refreshments stalls , long & strong. :-)

As I said in my post on 28/11/21 Spider-Man no way home will obliterate any takings in the last 2-3 yrs , a true fans favourite world wide , releasing v soon before Xmas holidays , world record of the most internet trailer downloads 380 million back in November, Just a taster of what’s to come to roll out 2021 and into 2022 with a massive roll out of big blockbusters in the first 6 months , (These shares are cheap as chips right now ) hang on tight to them when 2022 blockbusters start coming out. , long & strong :-)

Also , latpuldown , your absolutely correct Spider-Man no way hone will obliterate the previous “ best” cinema takings , ( James Bond ) for 2021 then into 2022 , :-)

Couchman, there will not be a lockdown , but hopefully a lockout to all air /sea passengers until we’re back to how it was just a few days ago .
