I respect everybody’s opinions on here but I find it hard to take negatives from people who aren’t invested. How willow and umiat can have oil but somehow peregrine can’t is hard to believe. Admittedly it might not flow, they might not have the drill but in the right place or whatever the permutations. We have other leases which if you believe in pantheon then we share some of that oil. The likelihood of oil elsewhere in icewine would also be significantly de-risked. Umiat has oil but how much now is really exciting. The potential of the gas etc and all the other little things that have occurred which lth’s have said feels different to the past. You cannot write 88 off as being worthless and a waste of time again.

Interesting how opinions can be chalk and cheese regarding such things but I guess that’s what makes things interesting. All I want to know is whether we have good leases with gas and oil. The answer to that has to be yes we do. So much proof and data building up. May not have the sweet spot or even be in a position to do anything about it. ConocoPhillips are planning on spending billions on infrastructure for a 600 million barrel oil field. I think I’m right in saying their costs are around $30 per barrel. Business sense says buy the two fields next door which would double/triple/quadruple your resource to where by you’ll get your costs per barrel down significantly. They are leaning towards umiat having more oil. Cost of that has just gone up. Buying the leases now makes a lot of sense to me. We can then use the money for our leases whether be it proving up or potentially producing. Just my thoughts but I’m very confident my investment will be a very good one if i’am patient.

I think the appointments are a very good thing. It may not mean a complete buyout but who knows. They may be the buyouts choices to be put in there in preparation for a buyout. Could be absolutely anything but I will say what I’ve always said, good acreages with oil and gas. How it comes is anyone’s guess. These guys will hopefully help prove up

Don’t know how you guys have done it to be fair. Been in a matter of months and my emotions and belief in this are up and down daily, lol. Hopefully you guys have done the long stint and we’ll see progress soon.

Covid has or will make the rich richer and the poor poorer in my opinion. That’s what pandemics cause.

I guess if people are expecting the sp to go even lower why would he buy now? If it’s going to keep going down I’d wait if I was him

The aim of my post really was the fact that it seemed everyone was very negative about this conversion, which I know nothing about. Ok the face of it doesn’t seem disastrous to me. My feelings were that surely it’s just a question of time and why any negativity.

Perhaps I’m being really naive or stupid but they have a massive chance of having a lot of movable, commercial oil. I’m also in 88 as well and have heard similar things about the past and what’s happened and make people feel like it’ll be a massive let down. Surely no matter what they will both have discoveries by the end of the next drilling season. Doesn’t seem like long to wait, especially when so many have been waiting a lot longer than that. Surely it’s a question of place your bets and wait for the finish line. Not trying to annoy anyone or such like, just laying it out there for some sort of reality check.

Why does this affect the fact that we own shares and the company has the asset that is worth far more than the current cap. I have no experience in this and don’t pretend to. Just bought some shares on the hope they’d find something.

I think we all know the true potential of oilex is a fair way off. Admittedly this can go big quick but I think a lot of people were hoping for a quick multi bag. Not sure we’ll see a penny until Xmas ish. We’ll see, looking forward to the coming months etc

This is the thing that’s hard to comprehend right now. That amount (still not all zones tested) of oil and were talking billions of barrels, commercial and it flows. Forget £2 a share! Recent deals gone for around $3-$4 per barrel in the ground. Still work to do but anything is possible here!
