Almost all buys after 4pm based on prices rather than LSE algorithm and 3.5m buys in last minute, but oddly SP was still dropping. The big sells were from yesterday - almost 6% of shares in circulation. What happened at 1pm today as that is when SP dropped sharply today -live selsl or more delayed ones?

It does seem odd the drop today - SP was flat until 1pm then just went down from 0.9 to 0.7p; not clear what triggered the sell off. Let's see what happens with Venus.

Not a good day as down over 22%. A lot of people will have sold out after the ramper's 2p was not achieved and the press releases said more work needs doing and then what happened to the government press conference? On positive side ended up more or less unchanged on the week.

You can say what you like and just said SP is going up. I assume you went to same school as Boris as now 0.77 to sell; down almost 12%.

I haven’t.sold out just fed up of these posters claiming 1.5p or 2p today. They don’t understand the market. This news is good long term and SP will be a lot higher come April after farmout is announced.

That isn't a Shell announcement which is point I was making. That article also states it will be months for any more news which isn't great to hear. This will be below 1p for a few weeks now and then rise as we get to farm-out in March.

Phoebus, I think you are correct. Pressure on Shell after yesterday's results to invest more in renewables and even split in two. No wonder they are the only partner to stay quiet today.

Odd to say “we hope” in release, why not just say “this puts to rest any doubts”. All good long term but won’t be 1.5p today.

The press release was poor with detail and will explain lack of price movement here. Let’s seem what is said at 11am but I expect we will have a slow re rate until late March which is still good,

Apologies got a bit spooked by the SP movement but did buy a few more in the 80s today. Expect we will go up for bigger gains will wait until March.

The bigger risk is will Shell want to devlop the find given delayed Nigeria and the political pressure they are under.

With no FOMO and apparently M&Ms searching for shares agreat time to top up in advance of the 13:00hrs announcement when some here think we will be at least 2p if not 5p.

After delaying Nigeria it will be interesting to see whether Shell push ahead in Namibia. Tomorrow may help answer that and also whether our Mystic Megs are right on the shareprice as FOMO raised no fears today.

Hard to see but good if correct. So far this week the SP has not lived up to the predictions. Better not to post any as when not achieved it puts some off buying.

Unless totally out then not that good as clear they are still selling down. Better if no TR1 and that means they are holding for gold, well oil.

More games already - SP down 10%. This share is a traders dream at the moment.
