Apparently a "Great AGM" . Details to follow as they are all liquid lunching it now but mood buoyant and interesting discussions around ICL and Lokies. "believe strongly that we will meet H2 forecasts" - all sounds great - awaiting further details with baited breath!
I think the answer will be consistent as it has been re being in the last 2 etc. UN is a nice to have, the other relationships are the base on which this continues north. Worth asking though, if anything to gauge reaction.
Described as a Very Solid RNS and have to agree with that - confirmations of many of the key sales avenues discussed over the last few months - all progressing well. Bear in mind - these are MASSIVE partnerships and the company are stating that the "growth expected this year in revenues and EBITDA will be achieved". The BoD are targeting STAR at being - in excess of - a $50m MCAP company LT and they are clearly stating that they are on the way. Everything is set here, the partnerships are in place, the products are outstanding and with no further placings required (company now sitting on a very healthy service revenue pot/credit stream) the current MCAP and SP can only head one way both short and long term. Very, very exciting times at last. No advice given.
Not so sure - what this needs now are deal RNS's - there's been lots of "possibility" talk for the last couple of years, now we are close to deal announcements - that's what's needed and its coming. Patience for just a moment more and this is flying. That said, not unlike STAR to RNS just before an AGM is it!
We're moving but this is nothing - when RNS re orders arrive it will fly. However this is still a LT hold, hopefully news from the multitude of other partnerships and projects will continue the buzz and the rise - Crop X is still the bigger prospect and that clock to positive RNS is ticking.
Headed to this yesterday at the NEC Birmingham, a number of lock or lock derived companies on show including Assa Abloy - came away feeling incredibly positive about STAR - specifically Watchlock and to narrow down even further - the new Lokies. Too many companies focussed on intelligent keys - all well and good but pointless if the lock has gone! Lokies is nothing short of outstanding in terms of asset protection, drop in and adoption. Genuinely, Lokies could be a game changer here.
good lord. Can you quantify or evidence that in any way? Literally just pulling words from the air. This is a fine stock, with potential we've worked towards for considerable time, we don't need ridiculous ramping, unfounded opinion and random spamming to detract from actual and real news and considered research from some excellent posters here. All you are doing with this spouting is dampening the excellent news that will come. Just calm down, read more, write less and let the excellent posts that you are swamping out be seen.
previous NOMAD applied restraints re deal RNS now removed so regular news flow from Allenby about deals highly likely - given that 50% revs come from "smaller" clients, there is RNS to be had on a more frequent basis than we've seen before so highly likely I would say. fingers crossed.
agree 100% - all for your own research but maybe read back more than 2 pages on the boards and check the dates on the RNS's - lot of stickies here that have put time in. Great enthusiasm and energy but maybe take a breath a little?

Receipt of down payment from North African Distributor
The Board of Starcom (AIM: STAR) is pleased to announce an update on its North African distributor agreement, details of which were initially announced on 7 November 2018.
The Company has today received a down payment from the distributor for a significant portion of the initial $1.1 million order, which is for the delivery of the Company's Helios Advanced units, together with BIO CAN fuel sensors. This is the first time the Company has deployed this technology in a major project. Delivery of the products by Starcom is due to commence after receipt of a further amount by the customer and the Company will provide a further update once this has been received.
Instead of moaning and questioning or the classic "just want an alternate opinion", (i.e. a negative one) why not do your own research and make up your own mind? Saying that figures and dates are made up? there's enough info in the public domain - if your unhappy with the company, the tech or doubt the contracts/relationships being muted then sell or don't buy. I don't get the issue - people are nervous, ok but that doesn't change the fact you can research and make your own decision - if you can't then don't turn that into it being anyone else's fault.
1 month out : Company confident that new NOMAD will be in by 1st Feb
15 days out - Company remain confident that new NOMAD will be in by 1st Feb .
6 days out - Company remain confident that new NOMAD will be in by 1st Feb but folks panicking.
Seriously, what else can STAR do but be consistent - it was always going to be close, it is close but nothings changed. Why panic now if you didn't panic a month ago - the only thing that's different is individuals nerve and emotion, both of which are amongst the biggest factors in trading.
Nope, not trolling - researching. Read in the Irish News this am that the money is essential (critical was a stretch, apologies) - I quote "The company - which has just posted pre-tax losses of more than €1 million - has already invested around £13 million in the Islandmagee project, and sees the European money as essential to enable it to proceed.". I know little of the company at this stage, but the info here is useful hence me asking. I wont ask anything further. wow.
With the EU money critical to the further expansion of the islandmagee venture, and with so many variables that are EU centric what's the plan B here should funding not be secured? Takeover, PI or JV (a placing wouldn't fund it) - how would they realise the £40m needed through other channels or is this now an all in the EU basket or nothing move?
Thanks Humpalumps (and mcadder) - good reading. The Irish 60% dependence on energy from Gas against vs the isalndmagee project looks like a real opportunity. Just researching competition - doesn't seem to be many around this size (under £13m Mcap)?
Interested in some opinion here - not holding but caught my eye. Thoughts on why INFA is a buy? Some volume shifted last week and a steady rise toward 2 since Nov 18. Doing my own research (naturally) but ijust started that process and interested in some views here if anyone has time?
