HE1 heading for 5p by end of week. Most important drill results gave NOTHING! Yet DJG123 tells us these are a safe and solid investment. Probably trying to get people to buy so he can dump his worthless investment on them.

GS shorts only need to be disclosed if they are held across days. If you look at trades on the first minute of almost every single trading day the last few weeks we opened on a high and I start drop. Shorts were closed at the end of the day and reopened the next.

IIs don't tree shake MMs and other smaller players do.

Cash I know. Even spent hours digging in what funds their CPI shares were in. Doesn't matter the amount of IIs. They don't go for the quick profit the way we do. What they do is slight adjustments on the way.

I do invite people to go and read about the investment strategy of IIs because seems to be a lack of understanding of their limits and restrictions which all portfolio manager is under working for these big firms.

The cannot take the amount of risk we take. Their objectives are not to provide insane returns but simply to track a particular indice and beat it by a few % that's all. So npo they wouldn't go mopping all available stocks if they saw a bargain, they do not invest the same way a PI does.

NoFear has contributed more than any since I've joined that board last year. And he did not just copy paste articles he found online.

Clearly views are very mixed in the financial media sphere, but absolutely better than they were last week before the results.

My opinion is this is one of the last few FTSE Covid hit stocks which has yet to provide recovery (RR is an other one). Capita was already in difficulty before covid albeit in the process of restructuring which is now bearing its first fruits.

I read the IC "article" and mostly disappointed that I pay for a subscription to get such a lazy piece of journalism. There's no more than 4 paragraphs to it with very low substance, research or thought. Sounded more like a post from one of LSE BB. Don't buy a sub just to get access to that one (some much better research pieces on IC).

The Times was balanced I thought but still pretty aggressive on CPI. Much better than previous articles from the journal. Was not a fan of the terminology used (black list, forced disposal...) but obviously I would be as I am biased.

Skimmed through a few posts bellow and not sure what the war is about here.

People invested here hope Lewis will deliver and the company will recover (so far it seems we might be correct), unfortunately no one can predict the future, will likely cuts in the gov budget affect Capita? Will disposals go as planned? Will they be able to secure higher margins on contracts? Will inflation.... Blablabla

It's called risk/reward folks. Higher the risk higher the reward/loss. This is a risky stock to some extent (I've invested in worse.

I'm more interested in why aller asset managers like Marathon AM and harbour capital have an interest in CPI. Smaller guys are more prone to risk and attempt to offer greater returns and they both have been buying Capita (by proxy not direct holders hence not TR1)
