We do not yet have the licence only a commitment to provide one. My paranoia or perhaps skepticism would be assuaged if CB undertook the following, issued clear unambiguous statements across his group of companies, presented timescales that are then achieved and delivered on what his forward looking statements offered within acceptable degrees of variation.

Only then will statements made by him be met with welcome reception rather than howls of derision. Credibility is hard to rebuild once lost. This RNS and the one with PCB Gold should have sent the SP upwards.

This is a positive RNS. However, the statement “subject to further drill confirmation at Gorob…” would indicate further drilling is going to take place. This then does raise the question of why you would start a mine in one location when awaiting confirmation of better possibilities elsewhere. The lack of trust in CB makes people assume the worst. We have yet to have confirmation that the licence has been issued and the lack of ECC is still a concern albeit all the pre-requisites have been met.

So we have moved from an imminent granting of a licence following a statement of acceptance to now a pending licence dependent on a ECC which was supposedly 'in the bag' months ago. As a LTH of both XTR and BZT I great this news with a weary sigh.

Once again, CB has managed to produce a 'Jam Tomorrow' statement lacking an essential element. That RNS should have mentioned the pre-requisite for an ECC prior to a licence; it would have been more credible in the light of the new information and showed that the company in not afraid of publishing all the relevant facts.

The last update was most welcome however, in order to maintain momentum and provide reassurance, an RNS or statement that the company has submitted its written acceptance would be beneficial.

Whilst I note that we are not committed to provide and finance, there is provision for this within the deal in return for shares in Chilibwe. This is worrying. I fear that Chilibwe need cash to fund their litigation and this is a vehicle to obtain it from Xtract who they know have cash to hand.

Coincidentally, there is a link between Chilibwe and Cooper lemon who Xtract rely on for the drilling of their own exploration licences. Could this be a case of 'If you help my friend, perhaps I can help you some more.'

We need a clear explanation from CB on just how much funding we are voluntarily providing to Chilibwe and for what purpose. I would hope the number is zero but I doubt it.

This is far too murky for my liking and in any litigation, Rio Tinto will clearly bring bigger clout to the fight. I do hope we have not had to ‘grease any wheels’ with this company or the director to get a 25% share deal purely for advice and logistical suppport.

Whilst I believe we are not doomed, there is no credibility in CB's statements and as a LTH of both XTR and BZT I, and I am not alone when I say this, thinks that I have been played by him. Let us see the licences granted by the end of the month. I would accept a three week prediction becoming three month reality if the news was good.

There is a lot of anger here at the moment as well as on other CB company boards. Sadly, it is justified. We now face yet another missed deadline. I hoped to be proved wrong and wake up to a cracking RNS on Monday but I doubt it. Should I and others try and sell and walk away or is there a faint glimmer of hope for the new licences and Bushranger ?

Prickly. Thank you for this helpful update. It is a pity you had to do it though. The company by one way or another should have done this.

My annoyance is how these shares have been issued and who 'pays' for them. Employees have paid some of their wages in return for shares, great. But Barclays, rather then buy shares, dilutes OUR holding and issues new shares to provide these. The best analogy I can think of is this,

I offer to sell a bike. A person gives me money for the bike which I pocket. Rather then handover the bike, I go around my neighbours houses and take bits of their bikes to make up a complete bike to give to the buyer. Now that is a good strategy !

I have held these since 2016 and have seen a lot ( presidential elections, Brexit, Pandemic etc) . By averaging down I reached £1.51 so am now in profit. I have been slowly selling off in chunks at 1.85, 2.02, 2.15 and lately at 2.24. I will continue to sell on the way up to 2.44 if it runs that far. This share is too volatile and I now want boring. IF we get 3p as an interim, that will be great but I will call it a day hopefully sometime soon.

Is anyone able to clarify what it happening at the earlier Joint Venture in Kakuyu in Zambia ? From the reports last year, this was an active test pit operation with samples being delivered and ramps pushed back but now no updates ?

Well I am pleased that there is some clarity on the state of the original two licences. We may just be onto something here.

Not brain dead ( I hope), but I am able to read the posts from between the 8th and 10th May and the reasonable doubt raised that the two licences may have been cancelled. Those posts combined with requests to the company for clarification which have been unanswered do raise just a hint of suspicion that all may not be well with the latest project. The silence from CB on this new money-spinner further causes one to ponder. Are we LTH to keep quiet in the hope that this is just a paranoid fear ?

What was the final summary on the possible cancellation of the West Foreland licences ? Was it all an administrative error or is this a brick wall ?

I wonder if there will be an update on Kakuyu ? That has gone quiet.

I wonder what is happening at Kakuyu ? It seems to have gone quiet, the last updates indicated test drilling, ramp extensions and even early ore deliveries but we have heard nothing for 6 months now. Similarly, has Bushranger been mothballed or is more work on going ?

If we keep this up, we will hit 190p soon. I have fond memories of the Barclays sheep trying to jump it a couple of years ago.

Mr A, I am in. My prediction ( based on what a groundhog told me ) is that it will be ... £1.46. It will rise like a star to £1.69 and then go down like a chubby kid on see-saw on the 19th.

Is it too early to start predicting the dividend on the 14th ? My hope is anything above 5p. One thing for certain is that if it is low, the BoD will see the result in the SP. A nice EPS or p/e ratio is a poor substitute for a competitive dividend.

Q3 results seem late, I know we get an update from Empress but we could do with the actual figures
